If we manage to have a nice hold tomorrow too (for the Sunday update), this era might actually not be over yet. We just need them to pivot to pushing These Walls instead of Illusion, which just won't do anything on the charts
LanaXtinaFan Posted May 5 Posted May 5 I don't know what's happening but this album is CLICKING for me right now. Whatcha Doing is hitting me like a freight train. I'm totally switching! Whew. I think the reception is partly due to the fact that people check in to a Dua album for dance bops. And although the songs are dance(ish), they are different for Dua casual listeners. But once people have a chance to sit with this album for a bit, whew… people are going to realize how good this is. 1

Send her to GMA, Graham, Kimmel, Fallon, Seth Meyers, Colbert, ... like I dont care where, just send her and make her perform She won't she's a "big popstar" those thing's are below her, even though she's struggling to sell 70k first week 1

IBeMe Posted May 5 Posted May 5 you see skinny fats? she needs to perform all the time! she is excellent live (her voice has always been immaculate but not given enough attention because she puts on a great show too). It brings the songs to life! 2

Before that it was New Love, Be the One, Last Dance, Hotter Than Hell, Blow Your Mind (Mwah), then Lost In Your Light. They will absolutely release more singles. 1 1

The way everything she has worn for events, including red carpets and performances, have been FUGLY. btw, Jahleel Weaver (Rihanna's stylist) dressed her for SNL there is a possibility that he will style her outfit for the Met Gala. Is it good or bad? we'll see...
nostalgic Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Dua knows how special Happy For You is and just had to perform it for us fellow connoisseurs of musical taste, love her for that 4

Is it good or bad? we'll see... It's just… boring Her refusal to wear any color besides red, white and black is also confusing to me When Rih had red hair she used that in combination with color to make her looks go extra hard, meanwhile Dua seems to think you can't match anything with red
