The Weeknd does 40M and he's at #4 and Travis did 34M and he was at #5 (now dua is at #5) Dua did 18M yesterday (including Houdini, TS and Illusion) so this could mean the new album tracks did around 20M

So those insider number are wrong

Is These Walls being pushed as fourth single? Its number are kinda impressive considering that it's not the opening track.

Panned reviews, atrocious streaming numbers…is it time for me to be a radical optimist and have my second listen of the album?:suburban:

why??? this album is really REALLY good, TTPD got crazy streams but many of the songs were mediocre, dua delivered bops and gets low streams… streams don't define quality

Oh they are playing Illusion on the gym. A smash me thinks

Never expected these numbers after Future Nostalgia...

Catastrophic numbers, entire FN debuted in like Top 50. A shame!

Not reaching #1 doesn't mean someone isn't succesful. Especially for the long run.

Well good thing this album isn't even gonna go gold there either :deadbanana:

My Apple Music streams wouldn't have counted I fear :dies:

Happy For You reminds me of her debut, a la Begging, No Goodbyes

My top 3 after my first few listens (excluding the singles):

Whatcha Doing

Maria

End Of An Era

what may went wrong is the long wait from the first single to the album, singles (falling forever should've been the lead then drop the album in february)

Well FN had DSN, which was absolutely inescapable during the album's release.

So basically only ~1.5 Mio people gave the album a listen (end of an Era streams + additional re-listens)

Thats not a problem of quality, its a problem of management and their undertaking of not generating any hype for the project. Dua, you were failed big time. Ditch all of them!

I know those SNL rehearsals are quiet as hell right now :oh:

So it seems like Spotify counter had a glitch, I hope it won't affect official numbers :eli:

They've been fumbling the bag for 6 months now.

Houdini is NOT a good lead, especially when it sounds NOTHING like the rest of the album.

The psychedelic comments set her up for failure, but at least she could've remained the critics darling she used to be even with bad streaming numbers for taking a risk.

30 min album after waiting 4 years.

Not building any kind of fanbase during all these years.

This is her 3rd album and the public already doesn't give a flying f**k! She deserves way more - the album isn't that great, but it's decent. She had the GP support and the cool factor, but they wasted it so hard! They didn't even bother to give it one listen!

Fire your damn father Dua and get to work. YOU'RE A FIGHTER.

Levitating coins won't satisfy your artistic ego forever, C'MON. DO SOMETHING.
