Guess what? You just got discovered by a major label and now you must release your debut album. The catch is that the concepts and entire eras of the albums have already been designed by said label.

 

You have the freedom to choose the debut you want… but only one of them will become a SMASH, while the others will TANK.

If you chose "Urban Legends" as your debut album...

You released your lead single, "Midnights"... it has a weak start. Not many numbers and while the promo is doing its best it may just not be enough. But then, out of nowhere, the TikTok Icon herself, Alex Consani, uses it in a meme format for her account. "Midnights" goes absolutely viral and SMASHES on all streaming platforms. It goes #1. The rest of the singles follow a similar path and your album gets pushed as far as the label can so the singles can properly smash. Once your album is released, it debuts with 80M-90M streams on Spotify. Your label is happy with you and you may now choose your own musical eras by yourself. Congrats!

If you chose "Whispers of the Wind" as your debut album...

Your lead single absolutely tanks, no noise, nada. Your second single makes some waves around the "newbies" playlists on spotify but not much more than that. Your album is shelved and you are placed in a limbo where you can't get out of the contract but you may not release anything. If you can write, they'll throw you around writing camps and you better pray a hit with your name on it comes out of there. If you can't write, then the label simply ignores you.
