With the way global warming is heading, maybe we’ll also get pantless.

Exciting. I hope it’s more reminiscent to Evolve.

That snippet sounds closest to a song on Evolve whilst at the same time sounding like nothing on Evolve. :rip:

I like that they try different things each album, but I can imagine this one being really vibrant / full of life now that they’ve got Mercury out of their system.

Give us Whatever It Takes 2.0 kings!

It’s so exciting! It’s weird to think Mercury Act 1 and Act 2 came out in 2021 and 2022 as it feels like yesterday. How are we already starting a new era? :WAP:

Excited for the shirtless performances the new music! :suburban:

Hopefully something similar to "Evolve" rather than what ended up in "Mercury".

As long as Dan keeps performing without a shirt on, keep the new music coming!

Yes! Like, I was thinking they will go into recording session this year and new album in 2025. Act 1 & 2 have so much emotion and powerful lyrics, can't wait to hear the new songs. The one thing I really want is another "Dull Knives" moment. :jonny3:

“Dull Knives” was such a surprise in the best way possible! I love when songs can be aggressive but still so melodic.

Smoke + Mirrors was always my favourite album by them until Mercury came out. I just really appreciated the subjects Dan sang about and I think we got some of their best work to date.

I was also expecting them to take this year off and return next year at the earliest as they were still touring up until late last year but I am not complaining!

It’s been a while since we had a huge imagine dragons song on the charts. Can’t wait to see what they bring this era.

To be fair, “Enemy” and “Bones” performed well and they’ve both managed to hit a billion streams on Spotify.

I just remembered we’re in the Year of the Dragon, so does that mean a “Believer” or “Radioactive” sized-hit is imminent?

Yeah, so many people trashed that song for no reason and Dan put his heart in it.

But for the new stuff, I'm excited, they are not afraid to dip in every genre and that's why the whole "they sound the same" thing is so stupid. Is there any date for the new song, because I looked everywhere, but nothing... :gaycat6:

Whenever people say all of their songs sound the same I just have to laugh because you just know they’ve never actually listened to any of their albums. They class themselves as a genre-less band and it shows. If you didn’t know anything about them and just heard “Cutthroat” you’d assume all of their songs were going to sound like Nine Inch Nails. You definitely wouldn’t expect to hear “Follow You” and “My Life” on the same album.

The only information (and I use that word lightly) I have is this:

What if it’s coming out on Friday? :deadbanana:
