I just saw the ticket prices and $200 for nosebleeds? Be serious. :skull:

!!!! I was literally thinking of supporting her because I really enjoyed the new album, but the Houston + Austin prices are literally insane. I hate nosebleeds and I’m for sure not paying more than $300 for the 100s sections. At a damn arena at that :rip:

I feels sad for her. She's very talented and she put her heart into this era.

Excluding all the resale tickets (which are cheaper)

Miami 2nd - starts from $50

spacer.png

Austin & Dallas - starts from $50 something

DC - Starts from $64

Some other shows are in the same situation - cheap and a sea of unsold seats (eg. Pittsburgh, Sacramento, Denver, Tulsa, LA, San Antonio, Indianapolis etc.)

I'm in Dallas but want Level 100 seats ...which are still pricey

Some of the dates she canceled were already 70% sold out months before the tour starts. That’s not bad at all.

Correction: Not some, only one date is over 70% which is Atlanta. The remaining ones were around 40% sold. @suburbannature

So who's lying :

giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e476ye1kyx8bapnngvone

Cancelled cities : 2 around 50 %, 1 over 50% and 1 over 70%

11585_141b538e9967f02d9e6ac917727cfe7e.j

Not Cancelled cities : 4 dates have a lower rate than some canceled dates

It’s clearly a scheduling issue.

Not a few hunny

The price starts from there so I stated clearly. You can have your interpretation whatever you want.

But the seats are not selling no matter how expensive you think they are.

Ur wrong. I clicked on many seats in Dallas and the front rows of Leveln3 go up to $150, 126.50, 96.50 etc the prices range all over the level and a good chunk are more than less

Bet he's talking about reselling prices for BAL 319, BAL 317 etc no?

But he forgot taxes added during the proceeding payment, and who wants to seat in the BAL 319  for real? I did once and I will never do it again. :rip:

Serious question: why are people obsessing about these cancelled dates? Who cares why they were cancelled? JLo is a multi-millionaire (probably close to being a billionaire at this point) and she's laughing all the way to the bank.

The haters love it (especially certain fanbases) because they can use it to discredit her more.

It’s clearly a misremembrance but 40% and 50% are big difference to you right?

We’ll see! She did similar with her It’s My Party tour and that sold out eventually.

Also 50% sold out in first few days during On-Sale is not bad at all.

“In general, tickets for live events have a very predictable sales curve:

20% Of Tickets sell within 2 weeks of the On-Sale.

30% Of Tickets sell between the on-sale period & 2 weeks before the event. (Maintenance Period)

50% Of Tickets sell during the final 2 weeks (The Closeout)

This inverted bell curve is a tough pill to swallow for many people new to the live entertainment business. Not all events sell at exactly this rate, but this is a good general rule.”

She sold out most of the dates immediately for It’s my party tour in 2019.

No but if you compare this to the "not cancelled cities", you can understand why it's more it's sound more like a scheduling issue.

So it's more important to check the right numbers.

Why she's cancelling Atlanta (70,10%) and not Washington (50,68%) for example?

I said it Atlanta is the only city that sold over 70%. The other shows were flopping.

Yeah she should cancel DC too!

I read online that she just booked another movie for September so they had to cut US tour short in order to squeeze few European dates. :giraffe:

Welp :rip: it was obvious her music was going to flop but I thought she would sell tickets considering she's a great performer.

They might not have officially-officially announced the project that has caused it...

That’s not true! I looked it up. And still, she was able to sell out nearly everything closer to the show.

For the It’s My Party tour, at the end of May she still had 72.2k tickets unsold for 24 shows (see below), while tickets went on sale the last week of March. Tour kicked off June 7. So only one week later.

The current This Is Me… Now tour went on sale at the end of February (3 weeks ago) and has 147.6k tickets unsold for 28 shows, as per yesterday. Tour kicks off June 26.

Now, she has some tickets left to sell still but considering she sold the remaining 72.2k tickets for the It’s My Party tour one week before that tour kicked off and that went well eventually, she will be FINE. And she has 3.5 months left to sell the 147.6k tickets she has now! Much more time too.
