NO ONE! A few fans like you sashay in every single female artist's thread with this delusion that you heard, saw one fan on Twitter or on Reddit or some other hellhole (Atrl included) thinking their fave is on the same level as Taylor to justify your being mean and condescending is so funny. No one thinks that, no one. And you know it too. OT : good numbers, same as Positions. Let's hope for the second streaming day to see if the prediction can hold. Edited March 9 by BnPac 15 8
Miracle Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Pretty good! Hope she gets a few songs inside the Hot 100 next week too, cause this is her best album!
Nickimeetsatrl Posted March 9 Posted March 9 185k in 2024 is not bad at all. Most of yall faves won’t even reach that high. She’s going amazing

LOL this is good fan fiction.
UnusualBoy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) Not sure why some of you are expecting more than 200k when she only did that with Splenda and TUNA and that was at her peak… This is doing similar numbers to her previous releases Edited March 9 by UnusualBoy

These numbers should definitely humble them I’m not sure why they think she’s on the same lever as Taylor, it’s quite embarrassing I'm assuming in terms of being a singer? Because the vocals on this album are precisely not on the same level as say, midnites Being on that level would be embarassing for Ari Edited March 9 by americanshameless 3 3 4
Ivan_brit Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Ariana this match Positions It will rise I hope it ends up crossing 200k debut

Zaynsus Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Solid numbers but ngl, I expected at the very least 200k. Hopefully, the numbers will rise throughout the week. US Arianators better get their debit cards ready. 31 minutes ago, By the Water said: Maybe they shouldn't have spent it all on leaks When I read that some fans have spent like $10k on some unreleased songs and they can't even spend $1 for a damn song or $10 for an album
Leptine Posted March 9 Posted March 9 These numbers are decent and fine, they were expected considering the last album ones and how the first single performed.
Gossip_Boy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Isn’t this how her albums usually perform first week? (TUN doing 300k+ was more of an outlier). I say these are good numbers all things considered. She’s quite consistent. I see the usual suspects are in here doing the most tho.
britxbrit Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Another #1! Happy for Ari. But... Seeing how Sza and Olivia were able to cross 300k with their latest albums is... interesting.

An artist of Ariana’s caliber doing less than 200k is not good and y’all know it It's going to be the biggest sales week of the year so far, so it feels like "solid" is a perfectly reasonable way to describe it.

But a bit beneath expectations since had months of preorders with variants and signed vinyl . That should have given it boost over positions. Also Ariana has had smash singles for the previous albums that carried them after release. Album is lovely but I don’t hear a successful single with the tracks.
