Sad Serenade Posted March 7 Posted March 7 The daily threads in the base are like "X flopping why?" I remember more diversity about threads, topics and artists talked in the past compared to now. 8
Leptine Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Other than the things already mentioned, I think that also the reputation system is responsible for less activity and engagement between users, while from a side I understand the utility, from the other you had to quote somebody before whatever you were agree or not about something and that often lead to more discussions-argumentations, whereas people bother less these days with giving just a reaction. 6 1
Dante Silva Posted March 7 Posted March 7 This is why TayTay needs to have a wardrobe malfunction and accidentally expose ***. It’s been a minute since an MPG did something extra (Nicki) and created a feeding frenzy. 1

Yeah I think it's related the reaction system. It's easier to do that than to comment. 6
loveisdead9582 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I think threads are still getting some action. So far we haven’t had too many big releases yet (Ariana is coming tomorrow, Beyoncé later this month, and Taylor next month) so just give it a bit of time and it’ll start picking back up. I’ve also noticed that threads get combined into mega threads somewhat frequently so…
ohwow Posted March 8 Posted March 8 probably the 5-6 taylor threads created a day with "Surprised?" at the end that got everyone bored as **** idk tho

There are members like Eternium and Swissman who will go on and on about their favs. All you need to do is use the right insults towards Britney and Beyonce. For a fee I’m sure an engineer can make that happen. That being said I think censorship is what’s killing this website. U can’t put a ***** in her place without being slapped with a suspension Eternium has been kinda dead lately at least compared to what he used to be, especially before covid.
konaa Posted March 8 Posted March 8 it's just so boring now. you can't make a lil jokey joke about some washed up hasbeen without sending the mod team into a tizzy anymore. 1 1 3
MusicLoverDude Posted March 8 Posted March 8 All I know is that you never know when the server will go. Most of the competitions I sign up for move to Discord because of that issue.
Gladiator Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Other than Reddit, this is the most active forum I am on. Like mentioned, everyone moved over to Discord. 1

Mons†erMuscle™ Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Perhaps people are just getting fed up being around such negativity all the time. Being here has ruined many an era for me and it's just not worth it. 1
Kamil24 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 too much censorship and rules, just make it a free-for-all discussion forum. 7
Keter Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Funny seeing this because I’ve felt the same for the last few weeks. I still pop in for the news and any funny/interesting threads, but the site is slowing down in terms of new threads. And many of the new threads are not super interesting. Guess the core user base is getting older. I think I signed up in 2014 and the quality has definitely changed. Same thing with ONTD back in the day. It’s crazy even to write out “ONTD”‘cuz I ain’t thought of that place in YEARS! Forums are too outdated for the younger generation. 1

Gorjesspazze9 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Also New Pop girls are not making any noise, Taylor took away the spotlight.
SleepingTigers Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Slow server, constant ads, lack of frequent registration for new younger members of newer artists. The only leg up this site has other something like Reddit is you can discuss different topics and old ones can be brought back up and not buried.
ohwow Posted March 8 Posted March 8 sometimes i see super funny thread topics that get closed quickly or deleted when it's like... isnt the point of the forum to generate entertainment for the users so they keep coming back? lmao 4
Totami Legend Posted March 8 Posted March 8 • The site is a mess. Most of the times I can’t open the reply box or check notifications so I have to refresh • star system is boring or too much fabricated so of course there’s nothing exciting to discuss 1
Bewitched Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Well maybe if the site didn’t randomly shut down in the middle of the night multiple times a week we would have more activity
Erreur2 La Nature Posted March 9 Posted March 9 It’s understandable. Forums are dying. The music industry is boring and artists are not doing anything special anymore. The forum is a total mess, it nevers works normally and many people complain about mods being biased.
Orsay Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Well the server is working right now which wasn’t the case this time of day for like 2 months (I’m an insomniac in California, hieee to the morning European girlies) other than that the site is a shell of its former self but what else is new
