BrandNewBrandon Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) I'm impressed by Miley and her achievements with this song, she is a queen and all but that list is filled with songs from the streaming era since play-listing and radio will keep your song in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 for way longer than in the digital era and the physical era for reasons like singles not getting pressed anymore once the song was above that many weeks and dropped on radio faster due to post-album singles being successful unlike nowadays. So obviously in a streaming era a song like Whitney's IWALY would've potentially even exceeded that number. But I am happy for Miley as it is one of the biggest songs we've had in a long time. A smash like that is rare. Edited March 5 by BrandNewBrandon 1
RideOrDie Posted March 5 Posted March 5 what kind of random ass record we all know the song is a smash girls we don't need all this to justify 2
Walk_Away21 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Who needs to worry about 2nd and 3rd singles when your first one is THIS iconic. 2
UnusualBoy Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I mean, it's an impressive record considering songs with #1 debuts fall out fast, this one has been charting for over 1 year already. Sad that EOM debuted earlier, it would've appeared in the list with Hello, it charted for 28 weeks iirc. 1
