Should Dua include 'Dance the Night' on DL3?

Having been originally intended as the lead for the Barbie soundtrack, the release of 'Dance the Night' just months before DL3's lead raises an intriguing question: Should Dua consider including the song on the album, following her pattern with previous singles?

Considerably more successful in the US than 'Houdini' and 'Training Season', does this smash deserve a spot on a version of the DL3 tracklist (be it a deluxe or reissue), or would its inclusion feel too inauthentic to Dua's artistic vision for the album? Let's discuss.

Far more logical than Prisoner on FN (Moonlight Edition) and One Kiss or Scared to Be Lonely on DL1 if you ask me :toofunny2:

Houdini and Training Season sound like they’re from the same album. Dance the Night sounds more like a FN leftover.

Yes, the album needs to have at least one hit.

It’s the only hit that she has had so I fear she has no choice because we all know she wants to INFLATE those overall streaming numbers

No, it's separate and I'd rather she include one of the leftover songs she recorded.

Dance The Night sounds like the final track from the Future Nostalgia era so no

No, it doesn't sound like it'll match the sound of DL3, going off Houdini and Training Season anyway.

she should add it to Dua Lipa (The complete edition) for further completion

If it doesn’t work sonically with sequencing of DL3 they shouldn’t force it. There may also be a rights issue with the movie company.

Dance The Night, Potion, Sweetest Pie and Cold Heart will all be on a deluxe edition, I’m sure of it.
