JO1s Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Of course y’all are eating up obvious pr and trying to own the haters. Some of y’all would join a cult without questions. 6 1 8 1
Badger Posted March 5 Posted March 5 What a nice statement that I’m sure 100% represents the intentions and followthrough of this pharmaceutical company and Miss Gaga 1 10
40000000000000 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 the damage control for this mega-millionaire get-together 2 1
Illuminati Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I mean it was pretty obvious that it was something related to Michael's work. My personal concern aside from it being random for her to do this as a singer - one day something shady will come out about one of these companies as it always does and the fingers will be pointed at her. 1
TheHanyo Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) Her boyfriend is a healthcare tech investor; how is any of this surprising or even worthy of critique? Unless there is malpractice like Clinuvel is testing their products on animals or poor people, there's nothing to criticize here. Inventing new drugs that prevent cancer is a good thing lmao. Inventing new drugs that prevent cancer is a good thing lmao. big pharma takes advantage of people’s dire situations and puts people in enough debt to kill them. Insilin only costs at most $4 to manufacture yet they were charging a couple hundred dollars for it. The government had to step in and cap the price at $35 which is still 9x profit. 12 1
Blue Monday Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Media literacy is DEAD because I KNOW people aren’t taking Big Pharma at their word because it concerns their fave 9 3 1
Reginald Posted March 5 Posted March 5 It has been a week of this ongoing socioeconomic/pharmaceutical discussion Almost a year, really, if we consider Nurtec LG7 or Joker 2 can't start up soon enough

DAP Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Well it doesn’t really mean shite if Gaga’s heart “is in the right place” because the impact of these decisions are more important than intention. These moneymaking schemes entrench healthcare as a for-profit business with which to exploit the masses. Making people less vulnerable to disease means making their healthcare responsive to their needs, which means making it accessible, which would empower the working class, which is diametrically opposed to the interest of capitalists like herself and her idiot boyfriend. 12 1

torturedpoet Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I don’t particularly like her but this is praise worthy in my eyes Spoiler Even tho we all know she’s doing it for a tax break
blaggot Posted March 5 Posted March 5 the pharmaceutical industry has never and will never prioritize peoples’ health over profit, contrary to what this bs pr statement is trying to imply. get real 1 2
Junlin Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Pharmacy doing charity work? The level of delusion is sky high while Ga Ga hitting a new low 1 1
Sugar-Rush Posted March 5 Posted March 5 There are girls out there who scam their fans out of hundreds of $$$ on a yearly basis by selling merch made by child labor or by selling repackaged music yet apparently Gaga is the devil for teaming up with a pharmaceutical company?
qurl Posted March 5 Posted March 5 yall running to telephone some press releases from the pharmaceutical company themselves as if they wouldn’t try to position them as some benevolent , giving entity that is putting care over profits media literacy dead, we’re all so cooked, etc yall are the bootlickiest of bootlickers 1 2
