Pillz
I don't care if she came off as rude, the older lady is 1000% in the right. No baby should be in a bar, pub, or anywhere outside of a warm crib after 7pm. 8
TROPICUM
Having a baby that young (for me) would mean zero bars, pubs or anything of the sort… like it’s lockdown and family friendly places only That’s why I’m not having any children ‘till I know I can go several months without going somewhere fun

LustSpell
No baby needs to be in a bar. They are 18+ or 21+ places for a reason Edited March 5 by LustSpell

It's an 18+ or 21+ space for a reason. No.
Dante Silva
The older woman is clearly correct. If anyone holds a different view on this then they are as crazy as the mother who brought her child in to the bar in the first place. People go to bars to have a good time, not be subjected to crying babies, I would say something too. Just as bad as people who can't hold their liquor and are a mess

glitch
I mean it does depend on the pub. Some pubs are family friendly, usually the ones that have a restaurant area. But if it's just a normal bar that's literally just for drinking, then yeah you shouldn't bring your kid there. I personally don't mind kids, but bars are sort of the only place you can go and it's an adult only zone. You should really respect that. And why would you want your baby to be around a bunch of people drinking alcohol anyway?

DevilsRollTheDice
The baby shouldn’t be in a bar, but people in this thread are also showcasing their insane opinions about children and babies. Children and babies are PEOPLE and we were all once children and babies, too. They’re entitled to be in public spaces as much as any of us. With that said, bars tend to be age restricted spaces so in this specific instance the baby should not be there. I wouldn’t directly confront someone like this, though.
