WildOne Posted March 2 Posted March 2 May I recommend you listen to a podcast called the Dating Detectives? It’s hosted by a private investigator and a comedian and basically they have people come on and tell their stories of gettin g out of toxic relationships (whether it was cheating, emotional abuse, financial abuse, etc). There are numerous stories of trauma bonding on it, and maybe hearing some people talk about getting through it could help you process your own feelings. The private investigator also talks a lot about her experiences investigating in the context of relationships (usually someone hires her because they think they’re being cheated on), which could maybe give you a better idea of what hiring a PI would have to offer you.
Maroonx Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Girl plz tell us you're joking... This is bat shizz crazy people stuff x
Bussea Posted March 2 Posted March 2 yes? you got away from someone who’s abusive AND he found someone to leave you alone. instead of a private investigator, you need to put that money into a therapist because you have some issues to work through and i mean that in the most loving way possible. all you’re going to do is return to a place of toxicity when you should be healing. most people would kill to be out a toxic relationship and have their abuser leave them alone.
Richie.Valdez Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Ngl this has crossed my mind once but I magically moved on when I saw how much a PI charges
