What is happening this year

Idk but I’m here for it. It feels like the best year for music since 2016. It’s not just the quantity but the quality of what I’m hearing lately is good too.

 

Now if we can just tempt Frank Ocean and Bruno Mars to come out from hiding then we’ll have a full house.

I think it’s the result of the post-covid concert boom. Music is a huge business right now because of Taylor, Beyonce, Bad Bunny, etc. and all these other artists want to cash in.

I can't remember the last time I've been this excited about mainstream pop music. The first time I felt 'fed' in years was with the release of Tension and then PF2 not long after, I guess that foreshadowed what's to come

And then I think because of COVID most artists, teams were on a pause and some comebacks were pushed ahead.
