Michael196 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 if that's his reaction to Mimi, then he'll drop dead the moment Taylor gets it 1
Princess Aurora Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) He's so messy Mariah can do rock as well Edited March 1 by Princess Aurora

They never touched rock and roll too unlike Tina Turner, Aretha, MJ, Etta james etc... Plus so many male and female rappers. Janet did touch Rock and Roll numerous times but ok 2

liquiddiamonds Posted March 1 Posted March 1 He is only famous for complaining and feuding with his brother since 1997. Your band only had two big albums. They don’t induct those. Mariah had the quadruple amount of hit albums in two decades
Elusive Chanteuse Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I hope she gets in to spite people like this. Both brothers seem to love her though from what i've read. lol

He's so stupid. Rock artists are just as mentally disturbed. Bringing underrage girls backstage to seduce them, hardcore drugs on the road, getting into fights, trashing hotel rooms, etc etc. A lot of these rock stars end up growing old, miserable and weathered out.

Støned Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Didn't Mariah have a secret alt rock album named Someone's Ugly Daughter?
Funnyfatty Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Who is he that his opinion about Mariah Carey matters? Mariah is a musical genius she opens her mouth not you
Jjang Posted March 1 Posted March 1 What an odd thing to say. Mariah unquestionably deserves this nomination.

I think he's only caring about it now because his (former) group Oasis was nominated alongside Mariah this year, otherwise he probably wouldn't be paying attention to this. However, I would like to echo @SecretSecret 's correction that Janet Jackson did cover rock and roll a fair number of times. If you're counting something like "Dirty Diana" as a rock moment for Michael, then "Black Cat", "You", "Trust A Try", and "Just A Little While" should absolutely be considered for Janet. "Black Cat" got nominated for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance at the Grammys in 1991, while Donna Summer was the inaugural winner of the category in 1980 with "Hot Stuff". As for Mariah, she's covered a fair share of rock staples throughout her career (Journey's "Open Arms", Def Leppard's "Bringin’ On the Heartbreak" Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is", and my favourite, Prince's "The Beautiful Ones"), not to mention the secretly recorded project mentioned below. 7 hours ago, GraceRandolph said: She's a rock chick. No better campaigning from Mariah's part than to officially release this with her lead vocals. I see the vision. Of course, finding these lead vocals has been the main challenge these past years, but she's also discussed the possibility of re-recording it all. Honestly, just making the released version available on streaming would already be really cool. 1
CottageHore Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I thought this was a cast member from Shameless whoever this crybaby is, he’s irrelevant and his opinion doesn’t matter. He could never!
