Almodusa Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I’ve read stories of women feeling guilty for not immediately loving this brand new human that came before them and it took them some time to fall in love with them as their parent so that itself isn’t shocking… he didn’t need to say the rest. 1
Archetype Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I don’t know exactly what is wrong with him, but it does seem like he was suicidal in the years leading up to having his daughter based on this interview. He said he wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for her. That is very concerning to put it lightly. Hollywood messes everyone up. 1
campelo Posted February 29 Posted February 29 His feelings are totally valid, he has the right to feel that way! It's not really tasteful to admit publicly as he is a public figure 1

But saying you dont know if you would “care” if someone came in with a gun is just psychotic behavior. He needs this child taken away from him asap. Edited February 29 by KatyPrismSpirit 1
Twixters Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Many men probably feel like this and don’t admit it lol sociopaths 1

I meant the feeling if he was able to love or not the child, the car comment is part of the maestro promotion
Nico Robin Posted February 29 Posted February 29 how old his daughter now? Like what would she think about it
rhaenyra Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Why would you willingly bring a child onto this world without even trying to give "it" basic human decency? Unless you're using the child as a means to hide a darker secret Either way, this man is unhinged and he need to be interrogated asap 2

It’s even worse No you act like it makes more sense to demonize an actor for some sentences that are taken out of context and misleadingly used in a headline to convey an intention which is the opposite of what he really said. Mob mentality. 2
bad guy Posted February 29 Posted February 29 "His feelings are valid for many parents" is not the defense you think it is. If you're referring to your child as an "it" or a "thing" and it took you a whole year to realize you might protect your child from a gunman please do not have children. 1 2 2
Flanders Posted February 29 Posted February 29 What's with the Bradley Cooper hate train lately? Frankly I find it refreshing, a lot of parents face shocking feelings or even depression when they're faced with their new parental role.
aesthetic bih Posted February 29 Posted February 29 This is embarrassing for him. You are a grown man. Act like it. With that old age, he's still stuck on this "I'm young, wild, and irresponsible" mentality. It's giving delusional and desperate. Well, let me tell you something ***** - YOU ARE PUSHING 50!! Have some shame!! 1
WalkAway Posted February 29 Posted February 29 That's such a gross thing to say, even if he does feel like that, just keep it to yourself.

People get shocked every time a celebrity says this this is true and there’s a huge stigma around parents admitting it but it’s the way he said it
SpaceOddity Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I get wanting to talk about postpartum depression and the overwhelming feelings that come to you as a new parent but jesus, man, that's a pretty insensitive way to go about it especially publicly, that stuff stays.

Have some shame!! People grow in different rates anyway and the limelight does stuff to you that we'll probably never experience. Plus, it's 100% true, some people stay frozen in the age they became famous for possibly for the rest of their lives. Was that statement still cringe? Awfully so.
