DAP Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Being sardonic is only endearing when you are self aware, something I wouldn’t expect him to know about. It’s hard being able to see anything in a dark closet.
Blue Rose Posted February 29 Posted February 29 This is very common. A lot of people don’t immediately connect with their newborns. People get shocked every time a celebrity says this 1

SleepNoMore Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Sorry these tweets and headlines are completely taking these quotes out of context. Right after these thoughts he says in an instant it all changed. And then he goes on to say “Not sure aid be alive if I wasn’t a dad” and realizing there’s more important things in life than you, and wanting to be a better person. He loves his daughter. He just started the story by sAying it took him 8 months before he totally got it. Bottom line is he loves his daughter so much. https://people.com/bradley-cooper-says-having-daughter-lea-saved-him-not-sure-i-d-be-alive-if-i-wasn-t-a-dad-8601783 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/bradley-cooper-not-sure-be-alive-daughter-1235837804/amp/ Read or listen to his whole interview before railing about him being a sociopath. Honestly everyone is so willing to read a tweet and a headline and hop on the outrage train without reading the whole story. 1 1 1
Gossip_Boy Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I honestly kind of get not being able to bond with your kid until they form a personality but the whole quote is just crazy
Vixen Eyes Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Good thing I never really enjoyed his part of the ASIB remake i guess
Konril Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I can understand if you are unsure and unprepared to be a parent but he worded in all the wrong ways. 1

chiliam Posted February 29 Posted February 29 what fresh hell is this? Im not a parent so i dont know, maybe being a parent can be frustrated and there`s moment you think you despite them. But why say it out loud like that Truly a mess
Dula Peep Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Do you think these comments will hurt his singing career?
istersay Posted February 29 Posted February 29 1 hour ago, Talento said: “The first eight months — I don’t even know if I really love the kid,” he recalled feeling. “It’s dope. It’s cool. I’m watching this thing morph.” “That’s my experience,” the actor continued. “Fascinated by it. Loved taking care of it. But would I die if someone came in with a gun?" wth????
Cain Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I mean I get postpartum depression, my aunt had it and it sounds horrible to not love your child at the start of their life But I’m pretty sure only women can get that, and they would never say “I don’t care if my child got shot” like WHAT that is insane, wtf
Leptine Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I got what he meant but he worded the whole argument very badly especially for an interview, the scenario he used was so uneccessary, he needs to stop releasing interviews for awhile, the last months have been a PR nightmare.

Vitaly Posted February 29 Posted February 29 That is terrible. How can he say that? And that's his own daughter, I imagine he could say and do worse if he were ever adopted or having a step child. also, this coverage in the middle of his Oscars campaign? What is he thinking?! He's already lost, I fear
