Mama, you're obsessed . But you probably won't get it anyway. I guess we'll keep seeing you around, . Also, where did I call black people "those people"? You must be so scared you can't think straight. 2
Ger.vaz Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Dancing skills viral on twitter but more important music viral on spotify. Stay mad 2

carameldelight Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Love Taylor's music but her perfomances are cringe like Katy Perry. Could never understand the appeal for live perfomances.

Don't co sign racism next time.

dawnettakins Posted February 26 Posted February 26 (edited) Embarassing omfg And we're supposed to believe THAT has surpassed actual artists and performers like The Beatles, MJ, etc. The gaslighting is real. Edited February 26 by dawnettakins 1
Frogger17 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 LOL @ everyone who's in this thread acting like they're surprised at Taylor's lack of dancing skills when they've been making similar threads for the past decade now.

You literally said that Swifties get the biggest hit threads in a thread condemning Swifties for being racist. Get a grip and open your mind or you'll keep earning the gif everyone has been posting. Good luck
Relampago. Posted February 26 Posted February 26 This keeps coming up but like everyone including Taylor already knows she’s not a good dancer I love a good kii but we’ve had this discussion like 5 times about this already
Vermillion Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Without fail on this forum now every Taylor era there’s about five why-can’t-she-dance threads and every Beyonce era there’s about eight or nine songwriting+production credit controversy threads. I’m tired. It almost makes me yearn for the early 2010’s when there was more competition to drown that out but Gaga and Katy both had aspects of their brands I couldn’t stand either. (Currently Olivia, Miley and Dua are not on Tay or Bey’s level and Rih’s on hiatus). For these kinds of tracks I wish Taylor substituted in more distraction from dancers to fill in the blanks in addition to other set piece and light work, etc. If you watch several of Madonna’s Confessions promos or even Kylie on her own during the Aphrodite era they don’t overcompensate when they’re on their own on stage (and Kylie never claimed to be a dancer), just rhythmic walking and poses. Rihanna I haven’t brought up because her brand, vamping/poses and genres are wildly different. If Taylor had better dancers do all the work it would avoid a lot of these cringe moments. The problem is that many of the tracks she’s moving to on her own aren’t really conducive to group choreography.
Redporus Posted February 26 Posted February 26 (edited) I like how ya'll were quick to speak on the 'black community' when the tweet was about the bad performance skills of a popstar, not a white popstar.....a popstar....nothing racial from the original post, only focused on the poor live entertainment value she brings to the table YET it was so easy to highlight black twitter, its the microaggressions and racial undertone for me... Bubble Tea Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Honestly she deserves the lashings. One of the world's biggest tours and this is what people are getting? I'll never get the hype around it all. Much to do about nothing. Taylor is fine at everything she does but to my humble eyes, never stellar. 3
