Except it’s not just about choreo. There’s no stage presence, no performing skill whatsoever. I thought she sang live but those sounded like the original red vocals in that clip. She’d be better off playing an instrument but no one wants to see that for 3 hours. The good music isn’t there either. I know it’s a stadium but from the clip’s angle it feels and looks like a parking lot tour. y’all also claim relatability but how can you possibly connect with someone making billions off you singing about celeb exes and hoping on her private jet after doing the bare minimum on stage?

Bottom line yall stan the McDonald’s of pop. Widely accessible to all with no redeeming qualities for your money

No matter how hard you punch that keyboard and scream that it's "bad11!" It will not change the fact that this is the biggest and most celebrated tour of all time and is *universally* acclaimed by critics :frown:

Yes and? A polarizing star from the start whose talent let to the creation of this very forum and whose career impacted taylor who herself is a Britney stan. Stay on topic please 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t deny that in my post though :(

mcdonalds is wildly successful. Acclaim means nothing especially if this 3 hour show is being praised. Historians will look back and study the wonder that is the biggest scam of the century

Who’s going to a Taylor Swift concert for choreography? Have you listened to her music?! Twitter does the absolute MOST just to farm engagement.

Because every song of hers I can literally play video memories of my own life that fit perfectly? Do you just not have a lot of life experience? Plus I’m dying to see all of Mickey D’s five star reviews seeing as how Taylor gets nothing less :matty:

You’ve dated harry styles? You were on the bleachers in school when your rival was cheer captain? You move too fast and have a blank space to write the next celebs ex’s name? You’ve had beef with Kim k and k west? You’re the anti hero? Is karma the guy you’re dating from the chiefs? If youre not in high school and own a private jet can we be friends please?

OT: inb4 we go for the feels and vibes :celestial4:

Honestly, I’ve watched THE ERA TOUR at least 5 times because of my roommate and I somewhat admire her showman ship a lot.

she’s an okay singer and very stiff dancer but she always gives it her all and that actually translates a lot better on stage. Also, she has that bitchy/mean girl stage presence going on for her abit too. The productions and visuals aspect of her tour make it very enjoyable watching on a huge TV! I don’t think I will ever pay to see her live but that’s just me.

Her constant music releases help. Not a year goes by in recent times when she doesn't release either an entirely new album, or an updated version of an old album, usually in various formats and special editions. I suppose it's a smart tactic, but it takes a very special artist to pull it off.

If you can only relate to music that literally specifically only has details you can fit 1:1 then yes you need more empathy/life experience

The problem is not that she can't dance. Many artists can't and don't get dragged for it like this. The problem is that even though she can't she still attempts to do choreography and looks a fool every. single. time.

Not only that but but she has has very little to offer outside of that too; her vocals are sub par, stage presence & posture are virtually inexistent. Really makes you wonder what someone like her is doing on a stage like that? Yea yeah i know she 'writes songs!!!!' but so do people like Max Martin, Jack anotoff and many others that do not possess abilities as entertainers.

Good for her for having the ambition and drive to overcome her status as a bts type of person and hacking the system into becoming what was once reserved for those with true star quality. Work smarter, not harder!

Taylor puts on a good show regardless. Her showmanship is amazing with or without dancing/choreography so I couldn't careless about about people who nitpick on her performances

I love how you think acclaim only counts when it's your fave being acclaimed (which happens very rarely I might add). If someone else you don't like is getting acclaimed by the same people who acclaimed your fave, it's fake and paid for :deadbanana:. You've been foaming at the mouth about her for years and it's not doing anything, time to give it up.

Beyonce can't write and yet you'd find her stealing credits left and right even though she has been called out for it many times. We love women who challenge their limitations  :clap3:

I don’t pay attention to critics or meaningless trophies. My faves have never been acclaim darlings… have you gotten me confused with someone else?

Please enlighten me about how her core fanbase of tweens and teens are filled with these life experiences you speak of. Oh wait…

Hey, don't be mean you guys. She is trying her best.

Not the casual racism and microaggressions by Swifties and a Del Rey. What can I say, they sure do love their White Americana. They really said, "Whites Only, No Colored".

Yes, she can appear goofy on stage at times, but that is part of her appeal, and her fans relate to it.
