It’s not that bad comparing with Ms. Jennifer Lopez

But he deserves to tank considering how he treated Britney and Janet

I NEVER said he would smash so I didn't know what excuse you were talking about. The song is clearly good unless you're deaf or tasteless sweetie. And for the canceled show you mention, it's a one-off solo concert and it's FREE, NOT part of the tour Did you really read the article? Sometime you just need to use your brain.

Justin Timberlake Cancels London Show Due to Illness, Announces New Tour Dates

I can’t tell if English is not your first language, but you’re clearly struggling to comprehend our argument.

As for JT’s music, it is unseasoned. It is not good - it’s just plain enough to appeal to the soccer mom market. You keep holding out hope for this tour but he’s already started canceling promo tours and now he has a tour date in the mix for “illness.” You should wait to see if he actually even holds these dates before bragging about them.

It’s obvious they will be more buzz and hype from Britney next album than whatever Justin just released.

Not you bragging about a #17 debut when Justin's is more stable than Make Me's fall to #52 in its second week.

#17 in it's 7th week :coffee2:

Doesn't that make his case... worse ? You're admitting that while he's about to go on tour, his new music does not sell well. His fans are spending money to see him perform his old catalog while not supporting the new music. That's the whole point of the thread.

Allow me to doubt that Justin "does not care" about his songs flopping though. He has literally postponed his comeback because of the backlash he was receiving in 2023 and multiple medias have written articles quoting their sources, stating that Timberlake was seething about Selfish doing bad, panned and at medias. If he did not care about his song's performance he certainly would not have done this amount of promotion and that media tour.

While he has an established career and you're right about touring being the main source of $$$ these days, it's completely delusional to pretend that he does not care or that he is doing good even for someone who debuted 20 years ago. If any female artist was performing this poorly you would be dragging her.

Cute essay but the kicker is that every single female artist DOES perform in a similar way, except for Beyonce who has insane longevity.

What female artist from 20 years ago can snatch a solo top 20 hit in the US ? Doesn't matter if it is only for one week.

Due to a high profile performance. Can you remind me where it landed on week 8 ?

He kind of won me back again with these 2 new singles :dancehall:

Why are people pretending he's filling 30-50k seated venues. Y'all lying mfs made me look for no reason. :deadbanana2:

858k is huge i think no ?

It took Midnights 2 years to surpass the 2M marks in the US but JT did 858k in less than 24hours this is AMAZING !!!!!!

Selfish is better, GP decided to stream that instead x

Is Selfish doing any better ? Honestly, I only listen to Mariah's AI version but that song sounds like a smash !

He’s done. I think women were a key demographic for him and they no longer care.

I can still see him getting cute hits here and there if it’s the right song, but as a dominant figure in pop I really think that’s in his past

It'll be 2124 and the same tired Britney fans will be opening threads about Justin, JLo, and Xtina. The boredom that comes from stanning a retiree. :rip:

Can’t stand Justin but the last two singles are good. People pretending they are mid is weird. His isssue is taking to long in between albums (nearly a decade), the music scene has changed drastically, and people eventually choosing a side with Britney.

All this rambling and back and forth over a promo single :rip:

It's sad you want her to make music in her condition. And she said she was done with the industry. Good luck booking the non existing album you speak of. It's not going to exist. Ever. Justin is giving his fans new music Britney has said she will not. Don't pretend you are getting a new album from her when you are not lol

not a single justin fan in this thread has more than 1k posts and they all made their account after the release of Britney's book... This is all we need to know as to why Justin has 0 staying power after he lost his looks
