Jeremiah Posted February 24 Posted February 24 He should just release songs titled like Britney's from now on because seems like that's the only way for him to make some noise 1 4 2

Into The Void Posted February 24 Posted February 24 1 hour ago, Erreur2 La Nature said: Doesn't that make his case... worse ? You're admitting that while he's about to go on tour, his new music does not sell well. His fans are spending money to see him perform his old catalog while not supporting the new music. That's the whole point of the thread. Allow me to doubt that Justin "does not care" about his songs flopping though. He has literally postponed his comeback because of the backlash he was receiving in 2023 and multiple medias have written articles quoting their sources, stating that Timberlake was seething about Selfish doing bad, panned and at medias. If he did not care about his song's performance he certainly would not have done this amount of promotion and that media tour. While he has an established career and you're right about touring being the main source of $$$ these days, it's completely delusional to pretend that he does not care or that he is doing good even for someone who debuted 20 years ago. If any female artist was performing this poorly you would be dragging her. P!nk is on the same boat....meh on streams but her tour is selling out

She does not feel very popular but from time to time she can a get song doing good. She's definitely bigger than Timberlake right now but I get your point.
BrandNewBrandon Posted February 24 Posted February 24 (edited) George Michael wasn't able to score a big chart hit 20+ years into his career. Neither was Phil Collins. Prince too. Usher too. It's no exception that an artist whose solo debut album came out 22 years ago isn't able to smash or have a hit song anymore. He's turned into a legacy act and will be selling moderately or downright flopping while having big worldwide tours. Edited February 24 by BrandNewBrandon 4
Great808 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Didn’t Meghan Trainor’s MYL debut with this much and went on to become a global hit? Several other songs too from mid level relevant artists that went on to also become hits? Justin’s second fanbase needs to worry (literally) about their own fave first before anyone else?
ToMmY Posted February 24 Posted February 24 His music is **** and the gp is finally aware of how pathetic he is. Many people actively decided to ignore those things because he was attractive but he's gonna struggle now that he's becoming as ugly outside as he is inside. 1
prézli Posted February 24 Posted February 24 NSYNC flops, solo music flops, what's next for Mr. Timberlake?

They looked truly equal when the 20/20 did almost 1 million in its debut week. Edited February 24 by prézli

Justin's lack of success isn't something unusual. Edited February 24 by BrandNewBrandon 1
