This is just your opinion, and that was mine based and what I saw with my own eyes. Also, no one is body shaming her, it's not my fault she didn't put all her effort in such a huge event like HS :giraffe:

You are absolutely body shaming her, are you dense? At least own it you silly little coward

OT: Katy's followed by Shakira / J. Lo. Katy is an unremarkable performer and her set was extremely corny. Shakira and J. Lo because a performance without live singing is a waste of time

Shakira and JLO

Why? Because it felt like Shaki was the opening act to JLO. Less production… less choreography… less value and the camera kept showing the fireworks :rip:

Shakira had more stage time, was on camera longer and her music was playing for more minutes than Jennifer’s.. so let’s not

Katy, Shakira/JLo, and Madonna were all terrible.

What did GaGa do that they didn’t?

And yet JLo outperformed. :michael: I'm not even a JLo fan, but I rewatched this performance with a couple of friends the other day and we all remarked how blatant Shakira's lip-syncing was and how underwhelming she was in comparison to JLo. It's like we were waiting through the opening act before the headliner.

Not people coming for Madonna when she literally established Super Bowl halftime shows as the huge events we know them as today and made them something every pop star is aspiring to do.

As oppose to Katy Perry and her dancing sharks.

Madonna made the halftime show hot for again for Pop artists, Gaga showed that if you really have it you don’t need guests, Jlo/Shakira equally held their own and showed you can share a show and not get outshined. Katy’s was weak and lackluster and relied on the stage production, Beyonce just did what she always does but on a bigger platform. I would say Katy’s as it absolutely brought nothing but a Missy resurgence.

Madonna had a great opening, a great closing and a bunch of BS in between. So her and very easily

She was given extra time to put on a show yet she gave a mediocre performance :rip:

Well if you think relying on backup dancers, costume changes, heavy choreo and pole dancing is outperforming then that’s just what you put value in? And so your friends are like you and agree? Nothing sounds weird to me.. I know a lot of people put value in these things.

But why can’t this so-called headliner and outperformer go on a world tour? Why can’t she get just half decent streaming numbers? Where is the demand for this star? She needs you and your friends, badly.

I guess that's the issue – she doesn't rely on those things. They added to her already strong performance. She outperformed. Not her backing dancers. Not her costumes. Not the choreography. Not the pole dancing. JLo. Shakira switched that microphone off and pretended to play guitar. She wasn't bad by any means, but when JLo came on stage it was like the performance came alive.

We're talking about this performance. If you can't discuss it and instead want to ramble on about JLo's abysmal streaming numbers, that's your issue. But I'm talking about the Super Bowl performance and that I think JLo completely overshadowed Shakira and out-performed her.

Well I guess that’s all this really is. Two different opinions and perspectives, and that’s fine. I’m just including her record-breaking low numbers to say, that if she was so great as you say, clearly it’s not the general opinion and hasn’t worked well for her. She hasn’t transcended to the next level by any means. That’s all.

If numbers dictated performance quality, Taylor Swift would be one of the greatest performers of all time. But we know she is not. So you might want to try and different argument.

I love Madonna but I will have to choose her. I hated the setlist and she almost fell twice during the cartwheels.  She also can sing live and dance at the same time so I don’t know why she lip synced. There was no need for LMFAO and Ceelo Nicki and MiA and she didn’t look like she was having fun. MDNA was a weird era .

Katy’s show is very  good. She performed all her number 1 hits and it was visually great and she looked like she was having fun and Missy and Lenny were great guests.

J Lo and Shakira for having two major pop girls setlists also did amazing and the energy was on point .

Lady Gaga and Beyonce also sang and danced live which is hard

Really? and you are doin' personal insults towards me :gaycat2:

The problem with all that blind stans, that they can't even accept a slight and fair criticism about their favs :gaycat6:

GaGa had the worst tbh x

Gaga easily, except her live vocals, her HS was very bland and forgettable with weak dances and overall artistry, plus her body was not in a good form and it was very noticeable in some parts :gaycat2:

Yikes you definitely could've dragged Gaga without bodyshaming :snowman:

Just calling it like I see it lol. Keep beating around the bush though by all means!  :gaycat3:

Mocking someone for not fitting your ideal body image is pathetic, despicable behavior that belongs in the past. :gaycat4:

Don't you agree? :gaycat5:

OT: This poll seems to be skewed by bitterness. Thank goodness the GP knows better

I’d go with Gaga since the others were amazing and more entertaining

Katy’s held the record for like 8 years and is honestly the most remembered one from recent years so we cannot get rid of that one :cm:

Gaga. She brought nothing to the table, that same performance could do it in a xfactor stage

Gaga. It was so boring.

Rihanna if it were a option, otherwise Madonna. Anyhow all the girl slay their perfomances :clap3:
