publikcitizen Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Was episode 5 filmed in one take? I thought that was cool to watch as a viewer. It really made for a very tense episode.

Episode 5 especially was a series highlight so far. however, the killer being revealed with four episodes left in the season is kind of giving Ryan Murphy classic recipe for off the rails disaster I don't think that's the mastermind killer. It could be one of his follower/disciple.
TheCal Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) Nicholas's so hot as the priest seems like he's the new Evan Peters for Ryan Spoiler at the end of the 6th episode, it kinda looks like him when she removed that mask hope it's just Ryan messing with us and the priest wasn't the one who is killed. I need to see more scenes with him theory about the killer Spoiler is it just me or is it kinda giving that Lois's husband is actually the killer/mastermind with multiple followers/disciples (probably they were his students at one point) who are helping him from all the clues everything is pointing at him imo Edited October 15 by TheCal
Dylangaga Posted October 17 Posted October 17 So everything we watched for 6 episodes was a dream?!?!?
stjosephprey4us Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Welp it officially when off the rails, a la every other Ryan Murphy show Spoiler Though I'll admit, I was shook w the twist reveal as well as the ending
publikcitizen Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Omg Spoiler Megan looks so different as detective and with straight hair. This twist is so crazy. I did not expect that the first six episodes was her in a coma Spoiler What is going to happen in the last three episodes? lol

publikcitizen Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Good article. Lots of teasing for the remaining episodes and confirmation of a second season https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/grotesquerie-huge-twist-episode-7-ryan-murphy-1236033876/
TheCal Posted October 19 Posted October 19 well... that was something Spoiler i need the next episode cause what is it going to be about omg does the killer exists? if yes is it still the priest (doctor), maybe he used her as a confession (he thought she would never wake up), that's why she was dreaming about all the murders I NEED ANSWERS NOW
stjosephprey4us Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Spoiler The ending scene with Megan's bf implying that one of them (either Megan or Lois) is still in a coma / dreaming has me concerned. If there is a second coma reveal this season, it really will take away from the story's credibility imo…
Innocencelost Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) this is the biggest nonsensical piece of s#!t I've seen in years. Clunky storytelling, indecisive directing tone, not to mention the way every character is acting like they're in their own different genre… what fresh hell Edited October 28 by Innocencelost typo 1 2
Hector Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I really hope there's a season 2 because the finale didn't really wrap up the story at all Now I get why this wouldn't have worked as a regular American Horror Story season. The inclusion of the men's cult
Dylangaga Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Wtf did I just watch? They really just ended it like that? Did they ever reveal who she unmasked in her coma? The tone at the end should have been the tone from the beginning. 1
jakeisphat Posted November 1 Posted November 1 That's it!? Spoiler I watched that whole ******* show for it to end like this. Am I dreaming? Am I in a coma!? 1
Have A Break Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I liked it, was weirded out by the middle of it, but then got on board again cause it was a nice surprise... but this is how they decided to end it? Or have they already been green-lit for a second season and will just continue on next year? Cause if that was it then damn... how uneventful and a waste of time. 1

S2 is not confirmed but Ryan Murphy has planned for it
stjosephprey4us Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Def a bit of a copout cliffhanger ending. I kind of have a theory tho: Spoiler I feel as tho when her husband (I can't remember his name) tried to kill himself w the pills, he is now actually in a coma. The stuff with all the men at like a men's rights meeting and Travis being clean cut again are possibly occurring in his coma. Meanwhile, Niecy is now in real life (although there are a lot of hints she is still dreaming as well ), but we (the audience) don't know that yet. So now the show is half coma / half real-life, and it will be another "big reveal" down the line.
