In terms of stage presence Britney one that one

 

in terms of dancing Tate wins. Tate is a better dancer also that clip isn’t near Britney’s best. She lacks confidence on stage which makes sense cause she is still new performing and dancing live (not counting her sytycd days) she’s got room to grow and get better

Tate might be technically better since she's been a trained dancer since she was a kid but Britney brought more charisma and stage presence and Tate is not quite there yet.

Did anyone even watch Tate's performance before commenting? She did a backbend and the air guitar? Like okay? I'm not saying Britney did crazy moves, I'm just saying that you guys putting Tate on this technical capabilities pedestal is odd when she has nothing to show for it. Britney was a trained gymnast, did off-broadway, took dancing classes virtually her entire life leading up to her debut... To give one of them this experience-based credit while not acknowledging it for the other is silly.
 

Britney did not just have "a bunch of charisma", she knew exactly how to move her body to every beat because she was trained to do so. The camera often took away from how impressive her performances were, because they would zoom in on her face in the middle of her dance moves. There's barely any shots of Britney's head to toe dancing during her prime and it's a shame, because the ones that we do have show a 10/10 body-line awareness

 

And to say that something is for old people vs young people is especially embarrassing loool like just do your research if you wanna talk on a pop forum (without being an idiot)
