Until I see some alignment with music, marketing and promotions I will remain deeply skeptical. If you have been away for so long why announce an album and sit around for a whole week doing nothing. It should have been ready to go.

 

Anyway, I don't like the snipet either. It's Wild Side part deaux - Aliyah version. She needed an uptempo song for the "comeback".

I figured that their plan was that an album announcement would help the single, instead of releasing a single to help the album... but she didn't announce a single

I’m convinced she loves the publicity and “moments” she can have with these sporadic announcements and drops than she is actually passionate about music itself. I’ll believe she’s a serious consistent artist when I see it.
