I know she’s not an established artist, but with the amount of traction the album announcement got I feel like she would be better off just dropping the entire project at once randomly and let people decide which song gets pushed based on streaming stats.

no, they just changed the title from "Normani Complete Collection" to that for more promo ig

Honestly they should've surprise dropped the album with the announcement. Would've done numbers. People move on super quickly and I don't think a drawn out rollout is a good idea given how long it's taken to get this album out.

Why is she still teasing singles? Does she actually think it will build up hype and improve streaming when it's released? It's been 2 years since she released the very mid song Fair. At this point she just needs to give us a date for the single and keep it pushing.

Actually it's proven many times over that it does improve streaming especially doing it the way she is on tiktok. A lot of songs take off from there by teasing before the song is even released.
