Bluetooth headache?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever noticed they get a headache after using bluetooth products for extended periods of time? I swear everytime I use bluetooth headphones or leave my bluetooth on on my phone I get a headache. Is it just me? :psyduck:

I used to get headaches from sleeping with my phone under my pillow

I found that lining my pillow case with reflective material, like tinfoil, helped

If you press down against your left wrist with your thumb it will reset the 5G and recalibrate. I hope you recover!

That's not likely, it sounds like you might have some sort of issue, maybe migraines or something.  You are likely sensitive to something in your environment that could be causing headaches.  Also, if your bluetooth headphones are in-ear, they might be too large and are causing pressure in your ear canals, which can lead to headaches.  Finally, there is a small chance your headphones might be broken and emitting a faint high pitched noise.  This is insanely rare, but it used to happen sometimes with much older cheap bluetooth devices (like 10+ years ago) and could cause headaches.

I would recommend trying different bluetooth headphones for a few days and monitoring if you still get headaches.  Then switch to wired headphones (not wireless and plugged into your phone) for a few days and monitor for the same thing.  Then stop using any headphones for a few days.  At least you'll be able to test what could possibly be causing your issues.

You are cooking your brain. Give it a few more years and the TV will be full of documentaries about people who will only start to get medically diagnosed at the start of the next decade.  For this reason I’m happy with wired headphones and always put my wi-fi off before going to bed.

I was just about to say that yes, I got headache when Bluetooth is working long too but replies in this thread got me thinking like it is some conspiracy theory which I've never heard of before :rip: I try to turn off Bluetooth after 2 hours maximum because I get a headache when I connect it with my radio box in my room (it has better sound) to listen to full length albums. I don't use headphones for that long because I take an hour in the gym or an hour to two when I am taking a walk to town, but at home I like it connect it with my radio box when I am trying to study or when I am trying to sleep (I have insomnia problems so my headache is most likely related with having poor sleeping problems due to stress)
