playwithme Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Taylor Swift = the US (non-stop smashing, getting bigger and bigger GDP-wise) Madonna = the UK (the pop queen with the biggest cultural power but diminished relevance) Gaga = Japan (a huge peak followed by a massive decline, several decades of stagnation, remaining relevant despite a huge decline) 2 1 2

Vitaly Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Nicki: Indonesia, Cardi: Malaysia Got into bitterly sisterly rivarly. And each of their stans always on any comments space on the internet being annoying and claiming who did the rap game best, and who did it first. When none of them are.

Gaga is NOT even close to the top 10 most popular pop girls I adore Japan, but it is kind of a fad considering that it was extremely close to overtaking the US by GDP in the late 80s (something that China will never be able to achieve). And it was much richer than the US in the 80s. It reminds me of how Gaga was being pitched as the new Madonna in 2011, and she seemed to be infallible. Fun fact: Japan had a much higher GDP per capita in 1995 compared to today. It's still a rich country though, and Gaga is still relevant. Edited February 21 by playwithme
Summerboy95 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Nicki Minaj - Argentina She's known for being extremely cocky. She's constantly inflating numbers but her citizens have less and less purchasing power. She's deeply insecure about other LATAM countries having better numbers and indicators. She's known for her corruption and schemes. That being said, she's one of the best LATAM countries and most entertaining countries in the world. 1 1

KOMH Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Lady Gaga would be Austria-Hungary. A once glorious empire that is now a vestige of the past.
