shyboi Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) 1. Why do you think straight male validation is so important for gays in general? 2. What are the root causes? 3. Is SMV (Straight Male Validation) important to you? 4. Is this a thing of the past? Are we slowly shedding of those regressive ways of thinking? ---- Edited February 20 by shyboi

TaggedGalaxy Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I just want them to use my throat **** the validation 1
Glamthony Posted February 20 Posted February 20 i dont even care for queer people validation, and i actually avoid any interaction with straight men, i couldnt care less for the opinion of a man that only talks about soccer and t/ts. 2 1
Suilen Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Straight men disgust me so they can shove that validation up one place and maybe feel something.
St. Charles Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I don’t have any gay friends sadly so I am constantly surrounded by them. It’s really weird because I feel disconnected from the LGBT community but I def don’t feel like I’m part of the “straight world” either. 1

But ATRL is meant to be very LGBTQ2S+, i know is not exactly real life but you are not that disconnected. You interact daily here
ImsoLOUD Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I think it’s fading. Growing up is realizing those men are not special nor much different than us.
Bosque Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Well most ATRL users also seek validation based on the fact how many Platinum certificates their fave has, so I guess it’s not too surprising. 2
May Posted February 20 Posted February 20 1. Why do you think straight male validation is so important for gays in general? probably bc they got rejected from those straight male friendgroups throughout school, it's healing i guess ? 2. What are the root causes? above 3. Is SMV (Straight Male Validation) important to you? not at all 4. Is this a thing of the past? Are we slowly shedding of those regressive ways of thinking? not really 1
Twilish Posted February 20 Posted February 20 What validation could i receive from someone who probably doesn’t even wash his a** 2

You interact daily here do people actually make friends here? I don't see a lot of interacting with others unless people are arguing about a random celebrity or debating chart performance.
burninredhot Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) No. Most of them have a very fragile personality which is very annoying to be around and the ones that don't are the kind of str8s I'm friends with Edited February 20 by burninredhot 1

Capris Groove Posted February 20 Posted February 20 For many it's probably because it's harder to get from them. Women tend to be more emotional and give validation more quickly/easily than men, who tend to be more stoic.
rebeltwat Posted February 20 Posted February 20 No The only straight men in my life are the ones I'm related to
