DoubleRainbow! Posted February 18 Posted February 18 no, she's putting out some of her best songs ever and the visuals are being cohesive (even when cheap) she shouldn't scrap an album that is shaping up to be great just because the songs are not performing that well (Houdini is a WW hit tho) 1
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted February 18 Posted February 18 The overractions over a single Spotify update , why are people on this site always so irrational.

kishi Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Scrapping does more damage than good. Keep promoting and choosing the singles wisely. Once the tour comes, she'll be fine. 2

worldwide angel Posted February 20 Posted February 20 the overreactions to this dua era is so annoying she's doing well in her home market and at least she's charting in america (top forty too) and most importantly, the music is great and refreshing
Yes, AND Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I don't know if it is a conscious decision but she seems to be nowhere near as visible as FN era. Also, at least in the US, maybe she needs a hot rapper to jump on a remix like Da Baby did with Levitating.
SweetenerNostalgia Posted February 20 Posted February 20 a song drops a position on spotify and atrl already wants you to retire
reymiu Posted February 20 Posted February 20 She is rumored to have upcoming tour & festival gigs (Glastonbury 2024) Scrapping the album is not a good idea. IMO it's best to release the album in 2-3 weeks when both Houdini and Training Season are still in top 50 Global. The album lacks a big hit but the total streams from 2 moderate ones should be decent enough (wait longer and Houdini will completely vanish from the charts, leaving only Training Season which is even worse) In the meantime go to studio and record new material (preferably with a different team from Kevin Parker, the sound is obv not commercial enough) to rush-release deluxe in summer
4th Time Around Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) The only thing that needs to be scrapped is this thread. Edited February 20 by 4th Time Around
