You guys are still having sex tho, just non penetrative.  I will stress that as you get older, it becomes exponentially more difficult to meet people who you are genuinely interested in and attracted to.  I feel like sides are growing in numbers and it’s just a reality that people will need to learn to cope with.  If I had to choose one or the other, I would rather be with someone who I would want to spend the rest of my life with than someone who wants the D constantly.

My bf is a side and I do like topping or bottoming from time to time, we talked about it and he sometimes agrees to do it

I'm a side (no penetration) and that's not really a thing where you can find a compromise tbh

Girl you don’t know ANYTHING about sex. I’m tired of this bullshit :rip:

go educate yourself about sex, read some books about sex (not porn) and try again. Sometimes its the body experience, sometimes its the energy, sometimes the emotions. Sometimes all of them. I’m sure he will change for you if he thinks you look loyal and care about him. We all change for the person we love WHICH IS NOT TOXIC :biblio:

but your first thought being “should i leave him” is a red flag.

+ you need to realise that you can’t get everything you want in your life and that its not supposed to be like that. Otherwise everyone would be married to the same kind of people.

you give us 10 different + traits

1 negative one and run here to ask if you should leave him. Pls do weirdo so he can find himself someone logical

Honestly I would suggest you talk to him before you ask people on an online music forum whether or not you should just dump him. Talking to your partner about how you feel, what you're interested in, and what they're interested in is absolutely in all cases the first thing you should do.

this reminds me of those reddit stories where two people with differing thoughts about having children get together, and then 10 years later the person who wanted kids realizes that actually the other person was serious about not having kids and they have to break up... :rip: like yes this guy MIGHT come around and compromise in the bedroom, but what if he doesn't.

if two people are incompatible in something that's a dealbreaker for one or both of them, waiting for one of them to change is foolish imo. yes we all change throughout our lives, but a relationship should work with people as they are, not as they could be in the future. it's giving 'i can fix him'

honestly depends how much you like him. you can always use toys to satisfy your penetration needs and also have an open conversation with him about everything he's into/ open to doing

but sex is an important part of a relationship so if you feel like its enough of a dealbreaker, then end things

Have you guys talk about it? If not, you should. Sex isn't the most important thing but if you're into penetrative sex and he's not, that will lead into problems in the future.

sex shouldn't be everything .. if his perfect with everything else .. and you leave him over the sex? carely you don't care for him

i've had many relationships and ones with the best sex were the ones that cheated.  I spent my first relationship 3 years without sex because I mentally wasn't ready or could do it and he stuck around for most of it. only thing that broke us was my mental health started to play up.

are you sure you wanted this to be more than hookup? you must sort out is sex that important to you?

I personally find foreplay boring after like 5-10min max so I get you

But if he's well off idk the idea of not having to work is very appealing
