Is Taylor Swift's downfall truly here?

Recommended Posts

Every time they try to tear her down, she only outdoes herself and reaches new heights in her career. Meanwhile, they remain toothless sitting on their stained couches enjoying microwaved meals tweeting hate on their phones with cracked

screens. :coffee2:

Absolutely not. More like she planting the seed and cooking something big for the Reputation TV in the future given how she's being marketing savvy and keep dropping Easter eggs everywhere for Swifties to discover.

Cruel Summer back to 5M daily streams, truly the cockroach of pop :suburban:

One day her downfall will come :penguin:

But It'll take like 10 years or more :snowman:

Newsflash: Taylor not over! Swifties proceed to circle jerk over her success once again, her art keeps going unmentioned.

This is complete crap by the way; most Swifties spend more time talking about the music itself than anything else. You simply don’t bother to enter the threads where that happens because the only thing you care to communicate about Taylor Swift is that you don’t like her.

Anyway, as for the original point of the thread, it’s no surprise that one of the greatest songwriters of our generation keeps succeeding despite the hate she gets just for being the biggest artist in the world.  Karma is a cat indeed!

Uh who cares about streams, sales, awards and tour gross when there's a mega viral tiktok dragging her?

You just know Taylor haters salivate everyday at the thought of Taylor's downfall and keep tabs on any little thing that might contribute to it.

They cream themselves over the views that Tiktok video its getting, but its prob the same deranged people watching it over and over again to get some sort of sick high.

Taylor just uses backlash to her advantage to come back stronger.

Hot take:

Beyonce and Taylor are benefitting from each other to a degree, we are not aware of as of now.

Just look at their respective tours, their film reception, their album releases this year. They literally position themselves as a the ying and yang of the music industry, reaching new heights together as we speak

So to answer the OP: This year wont be the downfall of Taylor unless something unexpected happens

The ying and yang of the music industry? Reaching new heights together?:ahh:

Beyonce hasn't gotten close to the levels of achievement or reception Taylor has gotten in any of the aspects you have listed.

Ur such a weirdo.

I was obviously comparing them to themselves.

Bey, just like Taylor, did/finished her biggest tour to date last year, they both released successful movies alongside the tour, Bey has just topped her beat charting song on global Spotify.. shes quite literally reaching new heights in the streaming era for her career.

Literally touch grass.

Or maybe not because ur hatred will only contribute to it rotting

Lastly, the way u defend Taylor - you really are a perfect example of the parasocial relationships Swifties have with Taylor lol talking about levels tho: lets talk about that when ur fav can precisely hit notes without sounding flat or being off-key. :-* Im not going for the obvious dance-critique, because we both know there really is no comparison (I'd go as far as saying even bamboo would have a good shot at beating Taylor in a dance challenge), but comparing singers regarding their singing, well that seems fair. And indeed, one is not on the level of the other :-*

She has a BIG BIG BIIIIIIIIG stan base, she'll be ok. Her success has been carried by them, just like BTS.

Taylor is far too calculated to fall off anytime soon. She's not addicted to drugs, cursing people out on social media, making death threats, hating on other MPG's, having mental breakdowns, spouting bigoted/hateful views, or associating herself with toxic/bad people.

Even if you feel she's "overrated", that's not stopping you from streaming the music of your faves and helping them achieve the commercial success that you feel they deserve over Taylor.

But, seriously, OTH's are just as deranged as diehard Swifties with their obsession over the woman. You even had some OTH's on Stan Twitter praising Kanye over Taylor this week. Like wtf?

Nobody works harder in mental gymnastics than Taylor haters. :bird:

No. She would have to start doing some Madonna esque risky shite in order to be truly cancelled. Or like get caught doing hard drugs. Basically anything that would ruin her girl next door image.

The worst is when they talk about how Taylor Swift only sold records and stuck around long because she's a conventionally attractive White woman.

Like seriously? You don't think the whole pop music industry is filled with conventionally attractive White women? Why should Taylor be singled out? Even Gaga is still decent looking, fit, and rocked Blonde hair at her peak despite some haters online claiming she's "ugly."

If being an attractive Blonde was enough to "get away with mediocrity" or sell tons of records for close to 2 decades, then Zara Larsson and Sabrina Carpenter should be destroying the competition rn.

Why do y’all make these threads that you know the answer to? And downfalls don’t just happen overnight. If she’s on a down swing, it’ll happen slowly. She’s way too enormously ubiquitous to lose all her hype that fast.

Posted

Maybe when you stop turning every single move or word she says into a tweet with 10M views or national headlines

Posted

Idk if she’s over but she single handly kind of killed the stan wars. Back in the day until 2021 all the pop girls were kinda comperable and they had their strengths and weaknesses. We used to see a lot of comparisons between them. Taylor’s unreal and never ending success kinda killed all the hype for all other fanbases.
