sam.teas Posted February 17 Author Posted February 17 In the previous agenda, No Angels (track 3) was slated as the forthcoming single. However, a decision has been made to replace it with Drown. The rationale behind this alteration remains undisclosed to me. Nevertheless, I hold the hope that the release of the song will proceed as scheduled on the 23rd, without further delays. 6 1
Johnny Jacobs Posted February 17 Posted February 17 It sounds like old Justin in a good way im kinda shook. I'll wait for the whole thing to drop
blown away Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Assuming this was (part of) a verse I hope there a killer chorus right where the preview cut off. Looking forward to it.
Nashe Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Selfish is my favorite song of the year so far and this sounds sickening already
allforyou Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Oh My God this sounds even better than Selfish I thought Sanctified was gonna be the second single but after hearing this snippet I wouldn't mind this song being the new single at all
HardBambi Posted February 17 Posted February 17 He sounds good. It needs a stunning chorus not to be boring though. I hope it’s there 2
SpaceOddity Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Sounds much more promising than anything he's come out with post 20/20. Like others said, it needs to have a strong hook. 1
shyboi Posted February 17 Posted February 17 what happened to his first single? i feel like we never heard about it again after the release 1
Mornings Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I can’t even imagine what Justin Timberlake has to stay as an artist. It’s so weird and phony. He’s a grown man so he can’t just make dumb pop songs like a free feel good teenager, but he’s also so rich and bland that who beleives this nonsense about “drowning”…. In what? Ugh between this and that horrible gospel baptist song I’m just baffled about his perspective and what he’s even trying to communicate with his music. 3 1 5
Facelessboy Posted February 17 Posted February 17 This song sounds amazing. Hope It comes with a music video. He needs to release a few more singles before the album drops!
MaxMartin Posted February 17 Posted February 17 this actually sounds good! I like the pre chorus melody
Johnny Cash Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I liked No Angels better but this sounds really good too
LovingDays Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Stop. Why is everything from this album a 10/10 These hits will be big and undeniable.

The placement of No Angels in the tracklist is more than appropriate, as is the case with Sanctified, Drown, and other yet-to-be-revealed tracks, as they seem to be perceived within a fitting flow of sound and content.

This is kind of genius. There have been so many times where I put off listening to albums because of the amount of songs. I wouldn't do that with a JT album, but if I do it with artists I'm not a huge fan of, other casual listeners would do it with JT's. Giving us tastes of the songs beforehand would make it much more easier to dive into the this 18-track behemoth. This man's mind never fails to amaze me. Edited February 18 by LovingDays
