It’s too early to call it a smash but things are definitely looking good:clap3:

And with a country song, that's really impressive. :clap3:

I mean it just reached a new peak on Spotify, and it appears it’s going to be a multuformat radio smash, is still #1 on AM and in sales. Seems like it’ll be both #1 in the US and UK next week.

It’s an anglosphere smash so far, but no where near If I Were A Boy, Halo or Crazy In Love globally. It’s doing amazing for someone 27 years in their career but let’s not act like she didn’t debut it in the biggest promo spot ever.

Nobody outside the US cares about the superbowl. BFRFR

I'm excited for that. I love the songs. Kind of surprised 16 Carriages isn't the one that took off like that though.

16 isn’t going to reach its full potential until Bey performs it.

Yes, the only thing hindering her in the past era's was her own butchering of the era's,

They may not care about the game itself but culturally it still draws in a significant audience. So saying that announcing these songs at the Super Bowl didn’t have a impact internationally is a lie

If radio jumps on this it will be one of those longevity hits. Country music takes forever to build up audience so if things align this will easily be a 10+ week top 10

No but the millions of people reacting to it on social media give it exposure. Let’s not pretend that American culture doesn’t drive the conversation on quite a few of the big social media platforms. No one outside NA cares about the game itself but they will still be exposed to and engage in conversations revolving cultural events. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand

That’s still not the same as being exposed to millions on tv. Plus the song wasn’t even in the ad.

If the song wasn’t catchy, this wouldn’t be happening. It would’ve dropped after the first day or 2.

Exactly, the hype could work on day 1 or 2, not a week after

Up to #1 on US Spotify on the Saturday update and #2 globally. :clap3: This is now her highest charting single on the global Spotify chart. :duca: She's coming!
