Flowers keeps ahead of yes, and? on Spotify Global Charts. Why?

it should be illegal to compare "flowers" with "yes, and?". One is a record breaking hit world wide, the other is yikesss

*without Flowers* is such a massive cope lol. Yes, let's remove one of the biggest songs of the century that will probably outsream Ariana's entire era to score a point:rip:

the only cope is you comparing flowers’ numbers with an unreleased album’s

Flowers had a huge moment last week so idk why yall comparing :shakeno:

Because Yes, and? should have been an apology. Yes, I stole your man, and I'm sorry. Instead we got, Yes, I stole your man, and I'll do it again. People are not connecting with it, and I'm afraid the remix will hurt Mariah rather than save the song. This lack of accountability from Ari is not working. Own up to your mistakes, don't brag about ridding ugly married men's dicks.

That's what happens when you're a global icon and not just a 2019 fad !

Interesting. Care to explain why Flowers (Miley's first hit since the Obama administration btw) being such a huge hit didn't do anything for its parent album?

I mean Flowers is a global smash while ya is a big underperformance. The HIAM and CTTR comparisons make more sense.

Surprised the OP didn’t post about ya leaving the Apple Music US top 200, which is a lot more shocking

Ariana's last solo hit was in 2019

skksksks yall truly live in a parallel reality :toofunny3:

Positions is bigger than every non-Flowers Miley song from the last decade...and that's just one single.

Not a SELENUR stan hiding behind Miley to throw stones at Ariana.

A joke. :ahh:

Can't blame them! They don't want to talk about Single Soon (then again who does)

You are the one who brought up imaginary numbers by arguing that ES would be more successful than ESV while dragging ESV's singles that received virtually zero promo (apart from UTBY). So far, we are comparing their lead singles, and Flowers, which is approaching 400 days, is demolishing Ariana's brand-new single.

Tbh I always knew Ariana was going to decline with this new era. I predicted it was going to be exactly as big portions or worse. Fans were very confident in the first week and even I thought I was going to eat crow! But following week the song kept dropping and dropping. Fans want to pretend like the cheating scandal didn’t hurt her but tbh the gp does feel a way towards Ariana now.

Let's talk solo hits from this decade then:

Ouch. Let's not forget one receives ENDLESS payola while the other doesn't. The fact that YA is still #1 oN TTH speaks VOLUMES. I mean it's CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY. So corrupt

At this point, I'd say this the biggest evidence there ever was to prove that TTH is in fact a corrupt and payola playliat

Flowers is a soon-to-be modern classic, the other is a just a bad song + it's already aged like milk

Miley spent a majority of the streaming era either being mismanaged by her label/team or releasing music that wouldn’t succeed on Spotify to begin with (Dead Petz, Younger Now). Of course her daily numbers are gonna suffer when her career peak was years before any of this existed and 1 single alone won’t fix those career decisions. :rip: So for Flowers to not only curb stomp yes and, but outdo every Ariana single ever released is embarrassing.

Notice how the second she doesn’t have Scooter and the goodwill of what Manchester/Mac Miller brought, she’s a very fragile artist. She already wasn’t likable as a person (donut incident) and now people are seeing it again with how she addresses cheating scandals.

Hopefully that CGI vomit Wicked movie does well cause if Ariana isn’t successful, there’s nothing to like about her.

Oooh but what about professed “queen of streaming” godiana grande I keep hearing about? :fan: Recurrent streams in the gutter and music aging like rotten milk despite the consistent massive playlisting she gets all the time.

Parked at #1 on TTH for a month and only 150M streams to show for it. It’s giving Nicki minaj. Someone call the weeknd.

I just dont get why they say in the caption and cover that Benson Boone is #1 on TTH when it's actually YA. Why? So weird

One is considered a modern classic. The other is the product of a once highly regarded producer who is now a burn out.

The girls on ATRL don't acknowledge Asian hits :rip: ALY is another smasha. And it's doing cute even in western countries. And Flower is a GLOBAL SMASHA. Not everyone can have those I fear.

Flowers is a good song. A great one, even. Yes, and? on the other hand is just... not really good, sadly.
