Love + Fear was a god damn mess. ("Orange Trees" was kinda cute tho) 1

Dead Petz has some great highlights, but it just gets lost in the middle of all the mess. With a more sophisticated production, fewer tracks, and more polished imagery, Dead Petz could have been her best album. 3

Just a Gay on ATRL Posted February 15 Posted February 15 If I'm reading the thread title correctly Gwen Stefani: LAMB > The Sweet Escape > This Is What the Truth Feels Like Lady Gaga: Born This Way > ARTPOP > Joanne Miley: Bangerz > Dead Petz > Younger Now

Itz_Dani! Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Now ESV is a good album and it has its bops, but compared to PH it IS a decline. 5 3
PrudenceHCharmed Posted February 15 Posted February 15 BTW to ARTPOP to JOANNE to Chromatica. That's four consecutive dip. 4 2
Støned Posted February 15 Posted February 15 1989 -> Reputation Very steep decline in quality.. 2 1 1

duybeeGAshantiGA Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Melodrama -> Solar Power came to mind immediately after reading the thread title. 1
Gladiator Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Born This Way -> ARTPOP is what came to mind immediately. 1
AMIT Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I don't think y'all are understanding the tweet lol, although it can be confusing translating it to a thread like this one, I guess. I'm pretty sure the tweet meant that Pink Floyd declined with quality after Wish You Were Here with both Animals and The Wall. Such weird framing in the tweet itself though, like why come for these certified classic albums when the usual consensus of Pink Floyd is that they started declining quality-wise starting from the 80s/after The Wall? It's fine to not like those 2 albums of course, but it just feels like fishing for quotes/engagement which would not be surprising in a platform like Twitter. Anyways with that out of the way I would say Madonna after Confessions with every album, nothing came close to her peak or Confessions itself and that's not even one of my top faves by her. Also Gaga after ARTPOP came to mind with Joanne and Chromatica sadly. My fave Ayumi also had a similar trajectory to Madonna after her 2011 EP Five with every album since Party queen being questionable at best. Namie as well after Uncontrolled with FEEL and _genic, but that's fine since they all have so much good stuff already (though Gaga might be an exception here in terms of sheer quantity ). 3

Taste of Honey Posted February 15 Posted February 15 4 hours ago, Melancholy said: Butterfly → Rainbow Yup. And it’s not even just some of the music. The mixing on it is SO bad. Now that I’m older I really notice it. I’m like how did this get released by a major label?
Ron Ng Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Confessions > Hard Candy > MDNA Born This Way > Joanne > Chromatica
