This is absolutely atrocious. Like bottom tier trash, one of the worst remixes/collabs I’ve ever heard and this is coming from a big Ariana fan. I feel like it was finished yesterday or something, if it even is finished :rip:

It’s worse than Rihanna’s S&M remix with Britney

Yeah this is legit terrible. Mariah sounds like she just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes.

Honestly, I was kinda expecting a different kind of remix.

Like what Mariah did during her prime with remixes like I Still Believe/Pure Imagination and My All/Stay Awhile, where she blends two different songs to create a unique sound..

Maybe mix the song with one of Mariah's classics?   Like yes, and?/The Roof :ducky: or yes,and/Breakdown?

The remix was such a letdown.

I knew it was a long shot with how J. Lo forced Billboard to separate a new composition, but this as like a lo-fi house remix with calm vocals/harmonies would have been life.

But then again why would you put Miss Christmas on a Vogue inspired track?

Mariah had a lot of famous 90s dance remixes and she used to rerecord vocals for those remixes (Anytime you need a friend C+C remix / Dreamlover remix / My All Remix etc)

Additionally Madonna already contributed to Beyonce's Break My Soul Remix last year. Ariana was wise not to contact M to avoid comparison w that remix

(For the record Madonna is my no.1 and Mimi is in my top 10 artists)

It ain't happening.

I doubt I will even like it. Mariah's new tone is so raspy and pitchy even with auto correction. I can't even imagine how it will fit on such a song. Ariana has horrible judgement, so even if it is terrible, she doesn't care.

@suburbannature all 10 lambs that thumbed this down owe this user an apology :coffee2:

It’s not that terrible, but it's bad. You’re right!

she has a condition where bumps grow on her vocal chords in the throat. they can cause issues for speaking and singing. that plus aging makes the voice raspier.
