Some do begin to collapse but many are just essentially put on pause and programmers wait for more audience testing to see whether to drop it or give it a second wind. It could still go Top 10 Ariana has always been a radio darling and basically worked her way there after Focus had some of the worst callout scores ever. Dangerous Woman turned her career around and then everything Sweetener forward has had amazing reception and callout scores. Edited February 14 by Communion

Yes, and? is just kind of hard to listen to. House music doesn’t do well for repeat listens, at least in the US. BMS, Houdini (not house but you get what I’m saying), etc show that it’s really a hard sound to connect with the GP. She was the first artist to have 3 songs (let alone all of them being solo) chart in the Top 10 on pop radio at the same time with Positions, 34+35, and POV. She always has gotten fantastic callout scores on Top 40 since Breathin:
