Both Cruel Summer & Flowers spend a 29th week in the top 10, breaking a tie with Anti-Hero & Kill Bill, for longest top 10s by solo women this decade

1. Cruel Summer/Flowers - 29

2. Anti-Hero/Kill Bill - 28

3. good 4 u - 24

4. Easy On Me - 23

5. Snooze/About Damn Time - 22

I remember at the beginning of the decade when people were saying Taylor's chances for artist of the decade were hindered by her Hot 100 performance. Now look at her:dies:

What are you talking about? Did you miss the Grammys last week?   :skull:

Flowers and Fast Car returned to the top 10 because its sales and streams had big increases after the performances

I'm well aware of the Grammys, and yes they had a boost in sales and streams, but they've (for the most part) have worn off. Flowers is back down to #131 on Apple Music. However, these songs continue to get positive updates on radio. These songs are a year old and have ran their course. There's no need for them to still be that high on overall radio.

i'm happy that Morgan got knocked off #1 on the 200 (although sad it took the death of an artist for it to happen).

I wish Megan had some sort of Grammys promo. According to the predictions, she’s still top 15, and her points aren’t too off from top 10.

We seriously need some new blood on that chart. Morgan's album, as well as SOS and Midnights, have been topping the chart for like a year now.

35 Biggest Hits is the first posthumous No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since Pop Smoke’s Faith debuted at No. 1 on the July 31, 2021, chart, following his death on Feb. 19, 2020. The last retrospective album to hit No. 1 posthumously was Prince’s The Very Best Of, which topped the chart dated May 7, 2016, following his death on April 21 of that year. 35 Biggest Hits is the first retrospective album to reach No. 1 since BTS’ Proof opened at No. 1 on the June 25, 2002 chart.

Also, as 35 Biggest Hits replaces another country album at No. 1 — Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at Time, which dips to No. 2 — it’s first time in more than nine years that one country album has replaced another at No. 1. It last happened in late October and early November of 2014, when three country albums each debuted at No. 1 and spent one week in succession: Blake Shelton’s Bringing Back the Sunshine (Oct. 18), Jason Aldean’s Old Boots, New Dirt (Oct. 25) and Florida Georgia Line’s Anything Goes (Nov. 1).

I’ve been thinking this for weeks tbh! Like this song is serving longevity, especially after a #1 debut :dancehall:

MTE, I assume it was moved by mistake?

Anyway, Toby Keith earns a posthumous #1 on the Billboard 200:

Flowers back in the top ten :clap3:

I wonder if Anti-Hero had a surge that could have put it back in the top 25 due to Midnights winning. It's a shame it was made recurrent by 1989TV, surely it could have charted a little bit longer.

I also wonder if Cruel Summer will have a resurgence (not that it dipped significantly since release :dies:) now that the tour is back. Do international tours have an effect to US performance?

i was one of them and who would have thought:deadbanana4: her singles were just not performing that well anymore post 1989

pop radio dropped her so they also didnt do that well longevity wise

but her power in the single department literally revived when the midnights era began (and multiple pop radio #1s:bibliahh:)

and now she has one of the biggest smashes of the decade:toofunny3:

its just amazing to witness honestly

WOW! Should've Been A Cowboy just BARELY missed reentering H100 this week & it was close!!! SBAC is #12 on HCS while Spin You Around is #13. SYA is #51 on H100. Truck Bed, #11 HCS is #46 H100. But I asked Gary & Jim this am and SBAC had just under the pts of Mitski at #50 while still above SYA. I verified SBAC actually did reach #93 in Jun 93 due to sales (Country Airplay wasn't added till Dec 98) so it would've been a RE not a debut.
