Her name is BEE-Yonce

So "Be" is pronounced like "Bee". But the "y" shouldn't be there because it is part of the YONCE part and not the BEE part.

Unless you are saying BEEy.

:deadbanana4: I had no idea people pronounced it as 'bee'

I mean, 'BayHive' and 'Queen Bay' make literally no sense. It completely nullifies the references. :toofunny3: I don't understand where 'Bay' has even come from.

The amount of people voting Bay. This is cause for concern :sistrens:

Hmm didn't she just pronounce it a "Bay" with the Bar-bey thing?

The same as any other word like that - lay, ray, may, gay, say, pay, day, way, etc

Nobody says BAYoncé, why would I call her Bay? :rip: Bee is the correct answer!

I've always said Bay. If I was calling her Bee I'd just write B.

And who has ever written her name as BAYoncé?

B = Bee

Beyoncé = Beeyoncé

Bey = Bay

simple as that. There’s no law that a nickname has to have the same exact pronounciation as a real name. Nobody calls JENnifer Lopez JE-Lo either, it’s JAY-Lo

Bee - yawn - say.

It's "Bee". For those who aren't sure, the clue is right there whenever Jay-Z mentions her in songs.

It's obviously Be. Why would it be Bay, her name isn't Bayonce.
