I get the raw, classic style they were going for but I just wish the vocals stood out more and were a bit fuller 1
GreatestLoveofAll Posted February 12 Posted February 12 a good 8/10 on first listen. cant wait to get more into it.
suneclipse121 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 As someone who absolutely despises country music except for some gems like Golden Hour. I’m very surprised at how much this is growing on me. And this a very old school country sound too One thing is for certain though Beyoncé is truly in her own lane and is legendary. She’s taking a BIG risk here going all in on this sound. 1
EarStyle Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I like how she used the end phrasing etc to bring in a bit of her own swag.

Slayn Posted February 12 Posted February 12 When everyone switches on this like they did with BMS when Rennie came out.. I love this song 1 1
Space&Time Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) I would expect nothing less than a polarizing reaction to a country Beyoncé song. I suspect tho, we have a smash on our hands! 🤠🤠🤠 Edited February 12 by Space&Time
QueenofCopyPaste Posted February 12 Posted February 12 This is co written by Canadian singers Bülow and Lowell
secretgarden Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I think enough time has passed to agree Texas Hold 'Em is the better single.

Johnny Jacobs Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I mean... It's cute but that's it. Ughh i wanted bmf country. Like a rock country gut wrenching stuff. Anyway I'll wait for the album to fully judge
