mathekr Posted March 28 Posted March 28 This is easily my favorite Beyoncé album on first listen. What a masterclass on curation and defying genres.
Blue Rose Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Texas Hold 'Em comes in at the perfect time. Mother's mind once again
Draper. Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Someone should make a Bey x Julius edit on Tik Tok with Bodyguard playing like the ones they do with couples from series and films
Golden Posted March 28 Posted March 28 It's either Bodyguard or Levii's Jeans as the next single. Nothing else is UP for debate.

Kh-Loud Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) I don't know if this is her best album. Her best album for me at the current moment of my life is Renaissance and has been since it first dropped. Having said that, I can comfortably say that this is her TOP 3 for sure!! Edited March 28 by Kh-Loud
BeyBronts Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Australians winning for once THIS WAS EVERYTHING I WAS HOPING FOR AND MORE. Initial thoughts after my first listens: American Requiem - may just be her best album opener ever. II Most Wanted - A SMASH. I said when the album was announced I was hoping for a Miley collab, and their voices truly sound so rich and beautiful together. YA YA - really is THAT GIRL! Needs to be a single at some point. I was dancing straight away. Sweet Honey Buckin - LOVE - Parallels to Pure honey. I actually really like the interludes, especially with Willie Nelson - I see the purpose and they would definitely lend well to a visual album... fingers crossed HAPPY LISTENING EVERYONE

Renaissance wasn't my #1 on day1. It wasn't until I spent enough time with it discovering all the little details and sounds. I suspect this will be the same because each song has so many layers and every time you listen you'll find something new. Texas Hold 'Em is the same. There are so many amazing production details that people never mention

king_queen Posted March 28 Posted March 28 "Ya Ya" is ironically enough Beyonce's "Hey, Ya" And that makes me so proud to say as a FAN
Green Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I like the Miley song but she should have pushed the Posty song on the playlists. It's so good, so easy listening 1
Negiiiii Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Becoming French again in 55min thanks Australia for welcoming me without a visa today 4

I didn't like the fact that there are so many slow/mid tempos songs on this album initially so I was abit disappointed. However, we should have known Giselle better than to try to predict her moves

She was still very serious in her music and then Corona happened and she wanted to make a fun record that's what Reni is about.
MonsterNavy Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) LEVII'S JEANS is lowkey soty 2nd #1 for this album tbh Edited March 28 by MonsterNavy
