Beyoncé - 'COWBOY CARTER'

I don't like Tyrant that much besides the beat switch, idk why it was giving me EIL flashbacks. The only chops were the last 3 songs and the Linda Martell section in general.

So after my first listen I think the album has huge highlights, it's another great album from Bey. My favourites are American Requiem, Bodyguard and II Most Wanted. I also loved 16 Carriages from the start.

I think the latter half is weaker than the first, at least for me, I felt like a lot of the tracks after Ya Ya kinda don't go anywhere? Maybe they're just weirder and I didn't get them the first time though.

I'm avoiding listening until it's out here but I need to know is Cowboy Carter tugging at the wigs of the holy trinity ST, Lemonade, Ren? :jonny6:

  Reveal hidden contents

Or the holy quartet including 4?

Her absolute best if you ask me. Completely decimated the silver horse album

YA YA is kind of the Virgo's Groove of act ii. An instant highlight, a fan favorite and kind of works like the centerpiece of the album. It's really highlighted in the album considering it has an interlude to introduce it and Oh Louisiana works as an outro for it. Love it. :gayoncecat3:

Posty's collaboration sounds like a big hit

I think this might've also topped Lemonade as her best album lyrically, which I didn't think was possible after Renaissance. There's truly something for everyone.

Overall album is excellent but it's not that country which I thought it will be

Ig it's problem with every big artist. They can't really go deep into just one genre cause of such a big fanbase.

Fav tracks

Jolene

Bodyguard

American Requiem

Spaghetti

Liked some interludes
