Fastlane Posted February 11 Posted February 11 There are albums that have covers that are so incomprehensible that they leave neither a bad nor a good impression. They're not poorly made and may not have an ounce of bad taste, yet they seem lazy and clunky in concept and execution. I'll start. Norah Jones was a huge discovery in 2003 with astonishing worldwide sales of 25 millions of copies and a dozen Grammys. The cover of her follow-up album, which sold a million copies in its first week in the US, raises eyebrows. There is nothing on the cover that catches the eye. Even the font is kind of old-fashioned and cheap. Lead single's artwork... Well... I really had an expectation that we can exchange them. 1
NEX Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Eh. I don't agree with your example. Great cover. Sometimes an explanation is not needed. Plus the answer is in the title - "feels" like home 6
The Man Who Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Referring to that album cover as ‘unintelligible’ is a strange choice of wording. 3

Yes, that's the actor from Alex Strangelove. They're hot so I give this single cover a pass but the Reaper one takes me out every single time it's giving p*dophile groomer, what was Sia thinking? 1

theoghon Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Also, I know this cover is aesthetically perfect, but WHERE tf is the "elephant" Jack was talking about being "hidden" in the artwork...can someone point it out for my sanity

Katamari Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Karol Gs 2020 album comes to mind I think I’m gonna make a thread on it tbh

The album cover has been around so long that she kinda looks weird here without the bike:
