ReneighIsHere Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 For Sanremo's covers night, Angelina Mango performed a song from her dad Pino Mango, a famous italian songwriter who tragically passed away during a concert when she was only 13. The emotional performance received a standing ovation and is now going viral, with more than 30 million views on Sanremo's Instagram page. Unfortunately this wasn't enough for her to overpower Geolier and his huge fanbase, in fact he still managed to win the covers night (with a subpar performance) while Angelina was ranked second. The reveal of the final top 5 caused an uproar, with people from the audience booing and leaving the building. I cant understand the fact Geolier has a huge fanbase and stuff, but he served one of the worst performances of the night. Angelina deserved to win. Her performance is really going virla and is giving me chills clip after clip. I still have hope for tonight.
