Kern Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Lately I feel like I've already reached my peak around 19-22 years old and now I'm in my has-been era. Maybe I will have a comeback but I don't think it's coming anytime soon. It's so hard to be around as many people as I used to be now that I have work and my parents don't give me money. I just don't have time to be careless and fun Edited February 9 by stupidjock 3
Revolution Posted February 9 Posted February 9 No I reinvent myself every few years like Taylor in order to avoid being a fad. Pop girls have taught me you either grow and evolve or you get left behind. 3
Suilen Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I wouldn't want Namie to be associated with washed-up hasbeens, legends only. 1
glitch Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I'm sorry that you're feeling that way. I've had my ups and downs and definitely felt a bit lost after coming out of lockdown. But last year I decided I'd take up some new hobbies and it's made me feel much more fulfilled. Just having a routine and knowing I've got certain things pre-planned every week really helps. You don't have to be going out every night meeting new people all the time. Find things that you enjoy doing and fill your time with them. 2

I work out after work and I'm doing drawing course (I'm going to art school this year for part time) but I haven't really made friends with those interests, I just kinda do these things alone lol. But it might change in time 1

But it might change in time I've been taking dance classes for about 8 months and have been swimming for a month or so. Dance classes are always decent sized groups and everyone has been friendly in my experience. 1

Jotham Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I agree with several other people here. The pandemic really changed the trajectory of my life and I'm still trying to rebuild myself from it. 1
