is the Eras tour safe?

Eras Tour will likely gross $1.8-2 billion, Coldplay almost guaranteed $1.1-1.2 billion with current announced dates.

i don't know if its just because i'm in the US and they don't make a lot of noise here, but i'm always surprised with how successful they are. my friend paid a lot of money for one of their shows and it made me realize how underrated they are

Surely will cross that 1B mark. Only the 2nd act to do so. In terms of tickets sold, it will end up #1 i read.

Insane that the grosses in Southeast Asia are almost on par with US numbers (at least pre Covid). The fact that the Jakarta concert alone grossed more than the 2 shows in Perth and the 2 shows in Tokyo :deadbanana4:

And there were 1.7 million people in line to buy tickets for Jakarta. This just proves how generous Coldplay are with their prices.

Yes, but the leak was taken from a Japanese television broadcast, so it doesn't have the exclusive interview.

They have been the biggest band ever since their debut in the year 2000.

that's why I said in the US. they're last album spent less than 10 weeks on the charts, they haven't had a multiplatinum album in a decade, and only have 5 top 10 hits. they're not super massive over here

Do you have a reference for MOTS' pure sales? My latest source is outdated.

Don't you mean 2025? But to answer the question: yes, and I'm expecting them to start repeating some cities since they had six dates at Stade de France but cancelled everything because of the Olympics.

They should do a proper North American leg, add 10+ cities in the US and 2-3 cities in Canada

I think they might do an East Coast version of last year's leg at best.

Yeah the NA leg feels incomplete compared to the rest of the world, and there is some serious money to make with a full US/Canada tour

The band probably feel happier in Europe, I mean, the chokehold they have on the public there is insane :bird:

I actually meant 2030.:razzle:

That way they could surpass The Eras Tour.:fonso:
