Is B known for her hair, though? Sounds like another business flop for her.

The name, while I get it, is just bad. Who is advising her business decisions? :deadbanana:

Gaga isn’t known for her beauty either and yet she has a beauty line. Bey can do whatever she wants.

HONESTLY. I think this could work.

And I've never been a fan of her business ventures, because I think none of them have been true to her brand. No offense, she's not a fashion girlie, no matter how curated and polished her looks are these days. She doesn't have the authentic panache for streetwear like Rih yet she CONTINUES trying to insert herself into that space.

Now  HAIR on the otherhand has always been part of her brand. Celebrating BLACKNESS is her whole essence. This could be a real recipe for success assuming 1. the product is actually quality and 2. the marketing is on point.

This is a smart business venture. Beyonce has ALWAYS been known for her amazing hair. It's one of her defining features (looks wise).

I hope it is a success.

Also I dont understand the hoopla around the name? It seems pretty understandable lol? She plays of the Ce thingy a lot so yeah idk why it seems to be bothering some ppl lol

I think Beyonce was trying to spell "sacred" by sounding it out...

Look, I actually laughed at this :rip:

I've long had a theory that this platinum blonde phase is a way for her to prove how well her products look because going platinum blonde is TOUGH on your hair and needs a lot of love from good products in order that it doesn't become straw.

You could be right!

I also had a thought she could be hiding something under the blonde? Maybe he natural hair?

Anyway I love me some Bey and I was hoping for act II by now. I think the Grammy costume has something to do with Act II but I’m a Rih Stan so used to being disappointed

Y'all rushed up in here to give your FLOPinions knowing full well the majority of you are not the target demo for this :toofunny2: scoot around somewhere.

Anyway, I hope there are some nice oil sheens and sprays for natural hairstyles. I have braids right now and I'm almost out of my so so brat spray. It's okay, I just don't like the intial peppermint smell.

Unless she starts showing off her natural hair, this is a bit of a weird one. Unless it's for wigs.

The fact that y'all can't even tell when she's wearing her natural hair and not, is why you should probably be first in line

I think there's potential to this if the product is actually good considering there's not a mainstream global brand that caters specifically to black hair. Could be a similar situation to Fenty Beauty's foundation revolution.

and whats pattern

If this is about natural hair products she was really smart about this. No celebrity was in that and Rih was dumb for not doing it first

i know Solange won't be involved :eli:

She has worn her natural hair plenty of times throughout her career and in her personal life.

Her hair was worn naturally in the group-dance scene of Baby Boy, for example.

Not sure if this was meant to be shade (so forgive me if it wasn't), but yes there are other brands in that lane like Pattern.

HOWEVER...

There aren't any brands in that lane with the type of celebrity level / following that Beyonce brings. Pattern is her main "competition", but it's not huge nor is it the "go-to" brand in the Black retail space. Bey can essentially buy her way into that area with relative ease and savvy marketing.

Overall, it's hella smart for Bey to anchor herself in the Black/curly hair care space as it's extremely on brand for her, her musical demo, and it's it's fairly uncontested.

With athleisure for example, she'd always need to partner with an Adidas, Nike etc to really make waves on a premium level (if she didn't want to go the super cheap / budget route, which in and of itself doesn't align with the premium of her musical brand).

With beauty, it's crowded af and is already swamped by ALL the celeb girlies.

By anchoring herself in the Black/Brown hair space, she's setting herself up to win in a potentially big way.

no i wasnt being shady, but i see the vision from the way you explained. nobody can compare to beyonces fame for sure unless rihanna would somehow decided to do it, so hopefully beyonce hair line will actually be successful unlike ivy park

Then I thought of Credit Firms

Then I finally got to Sacred. A journey

Did you expect better from a bunch of white4white gays whose closest proximity to black women is a poster of Rihanna from the Loud era.
