No, Lana deserved to win! Midnights has very high highs but most of them aren’t even on the standard version of the album. Ocean Blvd is stunning through and through!

No   It deserved the nom!  But it doesn't hold the same weight in her career that her past 3 AOTY winners did, nor an album like SOS or Did You Know...

 

She's had a phenomenal year as a result of the seeds folkmore planted, the re-recordings, Midnights, and the tour, and I'm sure that's what swayed some people when voting.  But as an album on its own...I don't think so.

No and I feel like even by how surprised and stunned she is, she low key knows it too lmao. This award feels like it awarded her gargantuan year, not the album itself

It’s a fine album, I think I just wore it out. I only go back to a couple songs nowadays.
 

But wow Twitter is ripping her  I think her overexposure is starting to get annoying to more people.

SOS deserved but I’m still happy for Midnights. It’s overkill at this point. I hope the next album is more folkloresque than a pop record. 
 

Lana’s album is also weak compared to her previous albums. We need another NFR. But i guess Taylor planted the seed with her speech. People need to respect Lana as a legend.

I get Folklore winning, it was deserved and a masterpiece 

 

Midnights winning is really pure white privilege and just stating that anything she puts out can win even if the material is mediocre.
