I think he means that she's overly enthousiastic while others perform and/or get awards in order to get more screen time and sort of steal their thunder/moment.

This was just not cute Taylor, and the rush to get a PR'd pic with her backstage after Tree caught her blunder...I mean I get it, she's human. I have unintentionally ignored someone before, but it wasn't freaking CELINE DION, who is not just a living legend, but has also shown herself to be just a good, cool, kind person.

 

I would be extremely embarrassed if I were Taylor. I hope she apologized profusely, not because of who Celine is professionally and culturally, but because of the disrespect human to human.

The Swifties can spin it any way they want, but this is still disrespectful from all angles. Miley Cyrus who won her first Grammy (unlike Taylor) was way more respectful of Mariah Carey, a fellow legend, and even took some time from her speech to give her a shout-out. This is what, Taylor's fourth AOTY? Her fourteenth Grammy? It's just a normal awards season for her. Like as if nobody knew that 'Midnights' was taking the award home even if it wasn't on par in quality with its fellow nominees. Wow, such a surprise to see the Grammys appease the artist with the largest fanbase and most successful album.  I am not saying she has some vitriol reserved against Celine or anything, she could've simply forgotten but again, it is still disrespectful. Everybody knows it was unintentional but it was still quite rude. One of the greatest artists is handing you the award, you can't ignore them like that.

But also, it's freaking Celine Dion??! Even Miley who was obviously ecstatic since it was her first Grammy was able to acknowledge Mariah's presence. To me... it's not just that Céline is one of the greatest artists ever... on top EVERYONE knows about her health struggles... I mean... just some weeks ago, her sister allegedly said that Céline was almost bed ridden.... then here she is, looking fire, being a trooper, being gracious and wonderful as always... and Taylor did not even think of any of that... 

 

Like a normal person... would be concerned and elated to see Céline and give her a hug and be happy that is was HER giving out an award. 

 

That's the real problem which I think went wrong. 

 

Seeing just how different Miley and Taylor handled their situations is really astounding and shocking.

true. What I find so ironic here is that Miley literally shaded and dragged Mariah to hell and then shockingly embraced her and was super kind and gracious, while Taylor who allegedly stans for Céline was cold like a stone to her.
