iheartshania Posted February 3 Posted February 3 It's been unhinged lately. I keep getting one that starts off talking about communism in China. I never let it get past the 5 second mark, but in those 5 seconds it comes across as some kind of propaganda. I also frequently get one that has this really dark tone talking about how dogs aren't supposed to eat processed meals for their entire life. My boy is 14 and has made it this far on Purina; we're not switching it up now. Whenever I get ads in Spanish though, I feel like I'm beating the system. I don't speak Spanish.

Tudors Posted February 3 Posted February 3 It's an iPhone thing. Yall can't block ads like how we can. Haven't seen an ad on YouTube in 15 years

No we don't watch YouTube through a browser. No use in explaining it to you when the device you picked is simply incapable. Enjoy your ads. 3 1

Stimulus Posted February 3 Posted February 3 If you're on Android, you can use NewPipe which is like the YouTube app but with no ads. You can also use Firefox with uBlock Origin to block ads on all websites, including YouTube. If you're on iOS, you can use AdGuard with Safari to block ads everywhere, though it's not as good as uBlock Origin. You can't use an app like NewPipe on iOS because there's no way to install apps outside of the App Store, and Apple won't allow an app for a Google service in the App Store that Google doesn't approve of. (This will change soon in the EU.)
Gladiator Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I have had YouTube Premium since it was Red and it is probably the one subscription I will never get rid of. I use YouTube way too much to not have it. It always makes me scratch my head why people find it such a hard line but stay subbed to Netflix, Hulu and Disney+ all year round. 1 1
imabadkid Posted February 3 Posted February 3 omg girl it's becoming UNBEARABLE literally this happens to me every youtube video: "OMG I can't believe that she would do something so horrible like - INSERT 30-50 SECOND AD - INSERT A SECOND 1 MIN AD" like b*tch what is going on youtube? are u guys going broke or smth? this is too much
Mordecai Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This is why I watch YT on my laptop and hardly ever watch it on my phone anymore

#Beautiful Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Quote At the time of writing, the cheapest place in the world to get YouTube Premium is Argentina, where residents pay the equivalent of just $1.05 for the monthly plan.
rp662 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 2 hours ago, May said: why do yall always say this when it’s literally not possible link me to an adblocker which will block youtube ads on the iphone app right now Also one for Twitch. I find Twitch ads more annoying, especially with streamers having the ability themselves to spam them every 2 seconds.

HealerKirby Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Just pay for Youtube Premium through a family plan, it costs nothing. You get Youtube Music with it too

Dante Posted February 4 Posted February 4 funniest was when they started lagging the site for those who use adblock lmao i mean if anything this wont make me buy premium it could just make me stop using YouTube at all, i barely use it even now, it's a dying platform since tiktok appeared 1
Kiel D-01 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) I mainly watch youtube on pc browser and have an ad blocker so doesn't affect me. I refuse to give YT a single penny. They make too much money as is. If your adblock is not working on YT anymore, this is the one I use since YT introduced those v annoying anti adblock pop ups: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/remove-adblock-thing/bfpadbloibjmakbdbmljnbacfggmghmk Edited February 4 by Kiel D-01 1
Novacaine Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Honestly I just wait out the 5 seconds till I’m able to skip the ad and I’m good
Terylee Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Copy the video link in the ATRL comment section, wait until it embeddes and watch it.
P.O.P Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Everyone and their mother have their own streaming service for their shitty content of 10 movies, why would YouTube be free?
